My courier asked if there was a safe plaice he could leave the parcel but I said no you batter give it directly to me in case salmon else takes it.

The decks arrived safely. The foil backs are looking cool. So glad we got that stretch goal. The uncut sheets are shimmering.

When you showed the foil on your Instagram, I was ecstatic to see it in person as it is so fitting to what the deck was trying to achieve. Fantastic!

I'm about to open it and surprised at how realistic the shine and pull tab came out. I wasn't aware that the deck was scented too. Phenomenal.

The first batch of UK cards has been shipped to backers today and the rest are packaged and ready to be collected tomorrow. Here are a few photos of the final product. Thanks again to everyone who purchased a deck. I am excited to get these out to you.

It was a banner last few weeks for me with Kickstarter playing cards. First The Successor from The Gentleman Wake, then The Artist Playing Cards by Andrei Captan, and to end the week...Sardines Playing cards in the gloss edition tuck box. I'm glad I chose the glossy version. The colors really pop and it looks more like a real sardines can to me.

I agree. The gloss just works. I also love the feel of embossed gloss.

Got mine this morning. Wow, that foil on the back isn't skimped on. Don't think I've seen any decks use foil in that way and it really works well with theme and looks great when dribbling the cards. Super happy with the way they turned out. Good job, Stacey. Looking forward to your next project (any sneak peeks would be welcome).

I got the pearlescent tuck and glossy tuck and must say, the glossy tuck ended up being the perfect choice for this deck.

I tried edge painting. It went well!
I do magic for my friend and I like the subtle one-way back. I can use the hot foil on the back for peek.
What I like best is the part where I say "pick your favorite card" and spread the sardines. It's so ridiculous.

My first time editing playing card tricks and Cardistry. With the help of my friend Joe Warrington who has been practising flourishes and magic, I managed to create a video that captured the decks shimmering foil in motion. Really had fun editing this video, I learned a lot and look forward to making more in the future. There are a few things I would do differently next time but overall I am happy with it. Joe's feedback was he wished he had smiled more
Thanks again to everyone who made this deck a reality, sorry it took me a while to make the demo video but I have been busy working on my next deck, which I will share with you all soon.
