Yes, we have 7 deliveries in the US, with more expected on Monday, but there are still some parcels with OSM.

100%. I am a big proponent on using and opening all of my decks. I don't ever buy decks to resell, and love the artwork so much where I just don't like hiding it away in an unopened box -- especially when artists worked incredibly hard to make them. I greatly appreciate you opening up that sale to us, and being lucky to get a purchase in to enjoy this gorgeous card deck!

Oh sure, the artist, the cards - they get all the glory.

And tucks, they get their love too…

But what about those poor unsung bastards sealing the cello? Their only wish to protect the tucks and cards from the ravages of the environment. Sure, they get joy when we pull that tab, experiencing that new deck smell that they so furiously preserved for us - but their true joy, their hope beyond hope, is for that opening to be in a far flung future - testing the very limits of the protective film that is their trade.

Ok, ok, ok.....that was well-written, and I give you major props for the creativity behind it . You got me.

Yes, well written, Gandalf. Nonetheless, I opened up the treasury deck as soon as I received it and, om nom nom, that was delicious.

Brilliant work. Love, love, love it. A proud addition to my collection. Oh, and the new-card-smell of this deck! Mmmmm....

All that said... the smiling Joseph Stalin is nonetheless simultaneously hilarious and disturbing. If you didn't know anything about him and just saw that image, you'd swear he looks like a truly amiable guy, friendly and benevolent. <shudder>.

Russian name: "Карты Пацана", sort of means "boys' cards" but "пацан" apparently also means "gang member"

I see people on other corners of the internet calling the series "Lad's Word" in English

Dusting off an old thread! I saw that Vitaly Sinkevich released a deck during the tail end of 2024 called Atlasny or something close to that. Any chance these will be available to purchase in the US, like his previous decks?

I initially planned to bring a couple of bricks or more but decided against it. First of all, I absolutely love this deck and will definitely keep it in my personal collection! However, from a business perspective, I’ve decided not to offer it for now until I figure out how to do so without impacting my other sales channels.

The issue is that I spend a significant amount on advertising, and most of my current customers purchase tarot decks. I don’t want to confuse the FB/IG algorithms by introducing poker decks, as they might start treating those customers as my primary audience. Since these decks might sell out in just 1-2 days, it would create a spike of interest. If the algorithm gets confused even briefly (1-2 days), it could impact my performance and earnings, causing me to lose all my profit from this sale right from day one. :D

I may set up a temporary store on my montenzi.com domain when I have time, but I’m not sure when or if it will happen.

FWIW this is clearly based on the standard Russian pattern, known as Atlas.

I wasn't aware of this artist until the thread got bumped up, and now I'm craving some of the earlier decks.

Yes, this deck has likely been printed in millions of copies by now. However, this is probably the very first attempt to produce it in good quality and poker size.

P.S. The name is not just "Atlas" or "Atlasnye," but "NEW Atlas/Atlasnye." The word has multiple meanings, one of which refers to a silk textile. The main idea behind the name was that these are cards perfect for handling (smooth). The most accurate meaning would be "Silky" if they had been produced in the USA 165 years ago.

Does this mean you will be moving away from playing cards and focusing on tarot? I know tarot is a huge industry and way bigger than cards. Just curious.

No, it will always remain the same as before—the hobby! I plan to produce a couple of poker decks this year - reprint a few decks (by the way, the Legendarium poker deck is sold out), and I should design one or two decks myself. All good. But at the same time, I plan to invest heavily in producing and supporting high-quality tarot projects.

P.S. Yes, I remember my AI deck—it will definitely be produced (90%) or refunded (10%).

Thanks for the additional information. I have an interest in standard patterns and have obtained examples of many. I do have a "New Atlas" deck in my collection, but I like this one better.

So as not to clog this thread with unrelated photos, I will start another topic to share my standard pattern collection.

I will be interested in purchasing if you do go this route. Is there any possibility of getting more of this artist's previous decks?

Along the same lines, Mila Losenko has some earlier playing card decks that I would love to obtain, but I can't figure out how to get them. Since you have collaborated with her twice, is there a possibility you could source these decks?

I have misplaced the link to the Russian site where they are sold, but many of them are on her Behance profile.

One that I own already is Alatyr.

Scratch that, I see that he is the artist behind Escape Velocity, which I backed on KS. I'm following him on IG now and will keep an eye on this thread.

Unfortunately, I can’t help with her decks, as I believe they are only available through a local publisher and sold on local marketplaces. You can try reaching out to Mila directly.

Tempted on that Atlassian deck, but the artwork on that one is all over the place. The tuck box and court cards are beautiful, but the tuck box artwork looks more suited for a currency deck, the court cards painterly artwork looks more suited to a vintage Victorian theme, and the Joker cards look like something from his space decks.

You could probably reach out to Manu to buy them directly without paying the padded eBay pricing and applicable taxes.
