The main thing is the unbranded "Legal Tender" doesn't blend in with the artwork, almost looks like it was slapped on afterwards.

I can for sure look back at the design and placement of the logo but honestly much thought goes into everything I do and nothing is ever slapped on. This logo mimics the background work denominations of US bills.
As for using the Bike logo you must realize that asking someone (a card designer) to use the logo is like saying "Here you go, your design, and style is already finished, and done by someone else, design your them and art around it." That's is not very interesting to me. I'm not trying to hurt anybodies feelings that loves Bike, but I'm sure any other serious designer would agree with me. Also there will not be a Bike version for sure as I will not be printing the US or the Chinese deck with USPCC. I think the placement and scale of the Legal Tender logo is solid and I want it to be as far away from the traditional arch of the Bike logo.

So... it's okay to have the words "Bicycle" or "Tally-ho" on some of your other decks... just not these ones. Got it.

Exactly right. I haven't done a bike in over two years and the money decks are very special so yep, I want the design to be all mine. If it's wanted enough I might do a Bike stretch goal.

I just don't understand, your customers are telling you what they want but you're figuratively standing there with your fingers in your ears going, "Lalalalala I can't hear you."
I understand, you want to push yourself artistically, but you may want to listen to your customers as well. Especially when:
1.) They say they don't like a design (I agree with everyone the Legal Tender logo is no bueno. You have your design intentions but in reality, it does look like a rough draft just slapped on there as a placeholder.).
and
2.) They say they will give you more money for something. In this case multiple people have said they'd be willing to pay not just the licensing cost but more on top of that.

I agree the Bicycle branded one looks much better but i'm sure with some adjustments the unbranded one would look just as nice.

There are a lot of collectors that don't like the Bike logo, and I would like to speak up on behalf of them. Frankly I am on the extreme that would prefer no branding of any kind on a tuck, just design (Your unbranded balck reserve note is a perfect example of this execution in spades). But I did really like the dark background and hope you revisit that part of the design as you are tuning in the final look for these.

Come on fellas, I'm listening, just giving you my side of things. No reason for me to have this thread if I can't give you my side. its still a 50/50 chance I will have a bike version. My main focus is not the $. I'm still entertaining the idea.
the good news is:
1. I know you guys will pay an extra $2-3 for it
2. and you like the design better.

... I actually like the legal tender logo in the big photo (in the small photo it seems plain b/c you can't appreciate the lines). So yeah, sorry everyone.
Edit: on the other hand, the kings wild project scroll on top might also make an awesome logo (maybe with the scroll going through the sides of the tuck as well)

I like the Legal Tender titled one over the Bike branded one.

In th end, there's about a dozen of us, supposedly informed collectors talking, where the original Fef52 had almost 3000 backers. We throw our opinions, usually to help, sometimes selfishly.
The one thing I really like when I come to UC is the discussion and quite often the designs are improved by the members. Usually with newbies. Jackson is not, and it's not uncommon to
ignore the crew and have it the designers way for the best. So, let's discuss politely and then leave it to the boss here (and with any other project, BTW).
I don't care for Bicycle, nor much about USPCC (I wouldn't pay more for that), but in my opinion, there's a bit of room for improvement in the legal tender logo. I like the inspiration and background and consistency, though, so it will eventually grow on me, but the "tender" part is not very legible.
Thanks for listening, anyway!

Sorry if I didn't express myself clearly. I by no means meant that you didn't put lots of work into it and I know for sure your didn't just slap it on.
Let me rephrase... the Legal Tender logo looks more like a frame that's popping out. I guess the bike logo arc seems to blend in better.

As I mentioned before I think it should be Kings Wild on top and were you have Kings Wild Project have it say Legal Tender, I don't get why you have project after I understand its a project but isn't your company Kings Wild, I love your decks every one, I'm just putting my 2 Canadian cents in. if there was a line to wait in to get these I would be the first in line lol
I also think you need a logo deck, I love the logo, LOVE IT

I'm just happy Jackson is going with "old money" green on the tuck and leaving the "new monopoly money" look on the cards.

I appreciate how much designers listen to those posting here and often humor mock-up changes suggested. In the end, it's their product and needs to be what aesthetically/artistically is still "them". It's great when some of our collective edit suggestions work nicely in tandem to morph into a better product.

Come on Russ you're gonna have to do better than that.

Its not even close to being a lefty deck. I lined metallic gold letter in the top right is worthless as a pip, it's readability is very low. It is only there to pay tribute to actual money and also to give me a chance to possibly use foil on the faces or glittery metallic gold ink. I'm probably gonna add a small cheat pip and index inbetween the big K on the left and the border. It also says KOC about 75 times down each side of the card.

is the K of spades on the bottom left on purpose? My vote is for giving Lincoln some cool metallic ink sunglasses instead of the metallic pips

Can't wait for this deck, along with the Canadian and Chinese currency decks

Good catch pablo19! Hate to see a reprint of one card again.
I like the gold on the right side, does look like current money.
