Five years ago, assuming the price was right, I'd likely have picked these up because there was very little on the market like this (that I recall). There have been so many decks since then that have really taken card-back design so much farther as far as interesting fans are concerned, and that have had such better execution on color-altered standard courts, that I'm not even inclined to look at the price on these. It's not so much that these are bad, it's just that there are so many decks available these days that are so much better that these just aren't going to find any shelf space in my collection.

A lot of time and attention was directed toward developing the marketing images. And, I see this is being distributed by Art of Play. So, really, this project creator is probably not entirely shooting in the dark here. I'm curious as to what the thinking is behind this project.

I agree; the market is becoming a bit saturated with these type of decks and this one just doesn't cut it lol

Is there some reason you don’t just put the pics in the first post? Aside from trying to double how many posts you make.

Yes, because if I have time, I will add the pics; if not I don't. It never even crossed my mind that this or the number of times I post would be a problem to anyone whatsoever; I just figured it's nice to have pics included so people don't have to click onto the KS if they don't feel like it and could just get a quick visual - also, because if it's a really popular deck that offers limited EB pledging, I figured it's better to just get the word out at that moment to all that might be interested rather than spending the time to put pics up for those that are too lazy to click on the KS themselves. That's why.

You can use the kickup tag/shortcode in the post editor. It adds a nice kickstarter info element and a kicktraq info as well. You just have to put the URL of the project between the kickstarter tags.
The kickstarter URL should read like „https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/[p ... rojectname]“ in this case „https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mi ... ying-cards"

If there is a „?“ In the URL you have to omit it and everything that is following.

If you add images later, I would edit the first post including the kickstarter details, so you have everything in the first post.

Thanks maxs, that's actually really helpful advice and good to know - I'll be sure to keep it in mind for next time :ucstar: :ucstar: :ucstar:

Sweet Baby Jesus... Is there some reason that 95% of your posts are just unsolicited complaints?

Sure, the OP could have just edited his/her post, but acting like a d-bag isn't the best way to make suggestions here.

On topic: I don't care for this deck.

yea, def came off as super confrontational - especially over what seems really minor if not at all insignificant to be honest. I can take criticism, no problem, but this was just not constructive whatsoever and was quite antagonistic. My only question is just, like,.....why?? ¯\_('-_-)_/¯

Ah, i see you guys have met Victor. Believe it or not, he has actually toned things down a bit from what he used to be like... ;)

It might be a good time to learn how to use the "foes" feature that blocks you from seeing certain users' posts....
"Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted."

While I don't disagree with your Foes suggestion - I have used it to block 1 person who has only inflammatory things to post - I haven't thought it necessary to add him to that list. While he is typically annoying, he sometimes does make informal posts. He just has a crappy attitude and I think he should keep it to himself instead of poisoning these boards.

Few of the players create a new design.
The such projects deserve respect.
The wipe to holes in alien pictures is just not serious.

The truth is I love to see new posts. There’s a lot of lurkers on these boards. Nothing wrong with lurking. But if activity and positivity are up more likely the forums to be a happening and engaging place. My two cents.
