2018 'Deck of the Year' Awards: PRIZE DONATIONS
I was going to compile a list but I think that will occur in the official voting thread as the contest gets closer. So for now, please simply post your donation in this thread so we can get an idea of how many prizes will be available. I will keep this a sticky for now until we migrate to the official voting thread in the months to come. If you have already posted your donation in the other 2018 DOTY thread, please repost it here.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: 2018 Deck of the Year Contest Prize Donations
Also a brick of decks, from various "seconds" and buy x decks get some random free decks deals. As such I cannot guarantee mint condition.
10 of them are sealed in plastic wrap and all that to my eyes great, a few minor bumps on the corners and such, nothing that would harm the contents.
1 is opened, seal cut but in great shape.
1 is "sealed" no plastic and the bottom fold of the tuck is not looking happy.

Re: 2018 Deck of the Year Contest Prize Donations
Awesome donations everyone!
I will also be posting a picture of the decks I am offering mostly to show the condition of them. When the prizes are listed to be picked from at the end of the contest would it be possible to link the part of this thread with the pictures or details for each donation? Definitely against actually putting pictures and such in the listing of prizes as that could make it a rather massive post. Don't know how difficult that would be.

Re: 2018 Deck of the Year Contest Prize Donations
I can't hold a candle to some of the generous donations here but here's my measly half-brick contribution:
Bicycle Packer "Just Blaze"
Bee Erdnase 1902 Acorn Back (Cambric Finish)
Draconian Wight
Bicycle New Era v2 Silver
Bicycle Full Moon SE (with lenticular motion lens)
Origins First Ed. (small tear in cellophane in upper-left corner) I might add 2 more decks to fit into a small flat-rate box but I'll keep you posted. Free US shipping, international- let's work something out.

Re: 2018 Deck of the Year Contest Prize Donations
I'm thinking about doing this for my mixed brick donation:
12 rare/valuable decks, BUT, I'll ship them without anything but a box. No bubble wrap, etc. We can test USPS's handling and see how they all turn out.
Sound fun?

Not an option. Also, the box will be marked with, "do NOT handle with care" and, "play soccer with accordingly".vasta41 wrote:If I win 2pc.'s prize I'm buying insurance.TwoPiece wrote:I'm thinking about doing this for my mixed brick donation:

Of course it'll depend on the quality of the box. Not too much issue if it's one of those big thick corrugated card stock that's 0.5cm thick. If it's a USPCC box, then I'll pay for insurance!TwoPiece wrote:12 rare/valuable decks, BUT, I'll ship them without anything but a box.

It'll be in a brown box that I leave in the snow overnight to get soggy.

Re: 2018 Deck of the Year Contest Prize Donations
I was waiting to announce one of my newest products (The Carat XCB - see General Playing Card Discussion) before announcing my contribution to the prizes for the 2018 Deck of the Year Contest. I have decided to provide two sets of 10 prototype Carat XCB Brick Boxes (same a production model, but doesn't have inner layer)
including worldwide shipping, but only one will be available for selection by voters. The other set will be given to Amy as thanks to all of her hard work and dedication to make this year's contest the best one yet!
THANKS, AMY! Please send me a PM with your mailing address and I will arrange shipping to you.
