Am I the only person who views having a deck be marked as a bad thing? It seems such a huge amount of decks are marked these days so clearly it is a feature that sells.

It would be interesting to know how many of these decks get used by magicians, and how many are utilised for less ethical purposes.

It does make it hard to use some decks (for playing card games) when many of the more affordable and suitably designed decks are marked (or might be - I hardly ever see the markings unless they're super obvious anyway :? )

A question then - can you tell me which deck hasn't got super obvious markings? Looking to add to my collection.

Nope. I agree with you. I have very, very few, marked decks. DMC Elites and Mint are the only 2 that I remember buying because they were marked. I bought all of the Ellusionist Kings because I love the design (I never even learned the marking system).

I don't know first-hand but I think these are supposed to be one of the least obvious marking systems out there. I don't know about you guys but whenever I preformed card tricks, unless the deck were an 808 Bike everyone would already assume trickery is afoot. The majority of the world doesn't know custom playing cards exists so unless you're using a standard deck people's guards tend to be up higher. Having said that I think this is a nice deck based on the back and especially the aces alone.

Thank you. Still unable to find this deck anywhere and it seems sold out in places where I looked.

The deck definitely looks interesting and I will keep looking for it.

I don't care about a deck being marked. I don't have time to squint and look closely at card backs while I'm playing a game. I win with skill. As for magicians, I makes sense.

All of the David Blaine White Lions and Black Lions decks are marked. You can find the markings system revealed with a simple Google search. Can also check out this list from Kardify and David of MO for some of the other decks which are quite affordable: https://www.kardify.com/2017/08/magic-t ... ck-of.html
