this is, IMHO, by far the strongest design of all three in the series and, unlike the use of the Swiss style in the other previous editions, the asymmetric alignment, play of negative space and the bold colors of this deck create almost like a color-blocking type effect that makes the graphics very visually impacting and exudes the bauhaus aesthetic for me - well done Luke!

Also, it seems like such different full bleed designs on the faces would be an eyesore for fans, but because the designs are consistent in their layout, it oddly kinda works for me lol

Image

I must admit, I did not expect another iteration of this series to produce such a strong design and commend the designer for pushing the bounds a bit on this one.

B9 finish on those, too! If I weren't in for a limited edition I'd jump on the Mono for sure

Inside story:
Because Luke is paying a huge amount for a 200 print run with Cartamundi on this Mono edition, he's seeking for people to jump on this limited edition and hoping that it would sell out. So if you're interested, hit him up in messages or on Instagram to see how you can get one.

Can't imagine how expensive it must be to print a 200 deck order with Cartamundi....

Screw it, I'll pick one up :D :D It's worth re-iterating how awesome Luke has been (in my very limited interaction with him)

RIP my wallet

Thank you all for your amazing and continued support - couldn't do it without you. Just over 3 days left, I am truly humbled by the backing so far and only hope it continues so more people can enjoy the decks produced.

:)

Luke, have to say that your style stands strong and unique among playing card designs.
Glad that this is a great result to celebrate the end of a great series (Grid)!

Yeah Luke you're one of the good guys. Glad to be a part of this third campaign. Especially after my experience of the second campaign. I'll just fill you guys in on that.

Long story short, I changed banks between the first and second campaign and the second campaign was the first KS I backed with that account.

Bank: "Sorry, this dude looks shady, we're not sending him your money"

Me [on the fifth day after the end of the campaign, pay day]: But ---- but ... I've still got 2 days to get him the money with your help.

Bank: *downs shutters*

**** what am I gonna do now??

Me via KS messenger: "Hey Luke, the bank said "No!", if I were to ... say send you the amount via PayPal in a month , do you think I could still piggyback on the second campaign?"

Luke: "Sure, no problem"

Thanks guys! And yeah portcullis, that was a real shame you had those issues, these things happens strangely but I am so glad we could resolve it together and get you the rewards you desired - anything I could do to help.

Last hour left on Kickstarter! *bites nails*

According to KS updates, GW has already shipped "Standard Edition decks and uncut sheets / GS3 Mono Edition / GS1 / GS2 / Stickers" :D

Signed and limited decks will be shipped directly from the UK - I don't think this has happened yet

Luke is doing extremely well in managing his KS fulfillments and updates. Never seen any other who has that much transparency.

Hey all - sorry I’ve not been as active on UC recently, a lot going on my side outside of cards, but saw the thread and wanted to update here too. Limited and signed decks started fulfilment today, by the end of the week all will be dispatched!

Thanks to the other guys for the kind words - I will always do my best to be open and informative with backers as much as possible - I know how it feels to be on the other side - and thank you all for the support. Enjoy the decks and be sure to post them in social media :)

Ooooooh! These are nice (as if I expected anything less). Thought I ordered 2 standard, but no matter. Sounds like a stupid question, but, Luke are the Mono decks individually numbered? I know you’re not ultimately responsible; but thanks for deck #1. Nice little bonus on the dreary Melbourne day. Cheered me up no end.

So glad you like them!!! :) had a check over the pledge and it’s one standard, one Mono Edition and one Limited Edition :) (LE on it’s way directly from me). Regarding the number, all the Mono decks have this as it shows the rarity rather than the actual deck number, sorry! In fact only 190 were printed so technically it’s even rarer! Printers have an obligation to fulfil within 10% of the requested amount to accept the job is completed, but you never find out until the printing is finished, nature of the beast. So yeah, enjoy your now even rarer deck! Lol thank you as always!

All good. I meant to order 2, but I haven't. I'm not going to be irascibly violent.

So it's "1 of" rather than "Number 1". Clever.

Can't wait to see what's next.

Haha! Aw I am sorry to hear that buddy. If you ever want to order another just ping me a DM on KS.

Thanks! Wanted to show the variety at the least.

Xero up next - looking forward to getting that design finalised and share with you all.
