Art style reminds me of Srjdan Vidakovic. Not sure what to make of these, they’re well-designed but they lack a little something as far as I’m concerned

Looks like I can no longer resist to what Riffle Shuffle brings to the table. Definitely going to pick these up.

I'm not a fan of skull related designs, so a hard pass for me (even if it's only the blue deck with the skull design).

I'm in the same boat as you, seems like it'll be my first riffle shuffle deck

Don't like all the blank space around the court cards. But that's pretty much my only criticism. Except the printer. Does anyone know any other decks printed with TWPCC? I recall seeing that company mentioned recently but I forget.

The tuck boxes are beautiful. The back designs are okay. I like the pips, but, the court cards are awful.

TWPCC is better than you think, period.

Basically TWPCC is Bomb Magic, so any deck produced by Bomb Magic is TWPCC.

You see some Hanson-Chien decks there because sometimes their printing plants overlap in Taiwan, but 90% of the decks you see on the page are printed by TWPCC.

Thanks! I almost bought the Oculus Reduxe deck, and I will eventually, but unless I do soon these will be my first TWPCC decks. I'll take a flier on them.

I've just been talking with some of our fellow creators about their impression on TWPCC recently. Surprisingly many have not handled any TWPCC cards before. So I'm really interested in your feedback about the touch and handling of the cards once you get them.
Sidenote: Oculus Reduxe is the rare few on the site that's actually printed by EPCC, but since Oculus was printed in Taiwan, factories and paper stock overlaps sometimes. I've heard it's the exact reason why EPCC decided to leave Taiwan completely and move to China: EPCC wanted to the paper stock to be used exclusively for their brand and disallows another company to use the same paper, which the Taiwanese printers refused since it damages their business opportunities. Don't know whether that's a good move for EPCC to move to China, given the bad reception of their recent Chinese-printed decks...

Sorry my friend but these decks will not be opened in my house. Maybe some other TWPCC deck down the road. As far as the Oculus Reduxe goes I remember it not being printed with USPCC like it's predecessor but I forgot exactly which company printed it.

Then why are you always holding USPCC stocks with high regards as opposed to other printers?!

I have explained this before in detail so I don't feel like doing it again but the big and skinny of it is I've open, used and played with over 200 different USPCC decks, a few old Hoyle, E/LPCC and Cartamundi in my lifetime. I know things change over time but that's good enough for me.
As to why I care so much about the quality if I'm not going to open them? I've explained this before as well and I haven't had a enough coffee yet today to get into this now but it's just my preference. I personally think the medium in which art is depicted is about as important as the art itself.

Hey Vasta, no worries I backed this KS... I will let you know how it feels. We should probably do a review of certain decks to see how other printers stand up these days. A lot of the info on printer ratings is from many years ago, I think a comprehensive investigation might be needed soon so we all know what's out there and what's possible. maybe this has already been done and I am not aware, but this information is hard to find and when found is quite dated

I really like those cool looking jokers. Riffle Shuffle has stepped it up. Went for the add-on gilded because I'm a collector and although I will never see that gilded edge in person because I only open about 10-20% of my decks for playing, it makes me happy knowing its there. I do wish that they would do something else on the tuck to signify gilded besides just a seal that says it. It seems it is like that with most companies, except Kings Wild, who really do make a gilded deck feel special on the outside, not just the inside!

Don't hold your breath. KWP is the exception for sure but most others will just use the same tuck because it's more cost effective (unless of course if it's another edition entirely). I believe JR either prints his own tucks or has exclusive access to tuck printing, which is why he can do it cheaply. Most others will just mark it with the seal.

Most of KWP decks tucks are made by Clove St.Press if I'm not mistaken.
He definitely doesn't make them himself since he sold the press he had (which he used to do the OG Verum Videre tucks with).
I don't see a colour swap that special though. Not really putting more effort into it, compared to a seal, by just using different coloured paper stock. But that's just my take.

how about creating your own thread of deck scan?
1. people don't visit UC daily
2. no one reads page 2
you're just bumping old/fulfilled thread back up, while pushing down newer campaigns to page 2. which tbh, deserve so much more funds. (well, unless someone keeps bumping over and over again with molecular update to stay on top thread of the forum)
i view your scans too. its not against you or anything, just my opinion.

I appreciate @macstrat's effort of showing us the deck, and he is in the right of posting it in the same thread. I'm certain that if he creates a separate thread for deck scans: 1. No one knows what new scans have been posted due to the fixed thread title, 2. Posting in "General" receives a lot less attention.
In terms of old threads being bumped up and newer threads being pushed down, annoying? Maybe. But it's member's own responsibility to dig out the thread that they are interested in. UC does not hold the responsibility nor the function to show all the new decks being put out. Remember all postings are the work of members altogether, not some centralized website function. It's for the best if people learn how to keep track of latest things like how they do with purchasing and cross-checking platforms for the best prices for the commodity they want.
Foremost, @macstrat is contributing to the thread itself, unlike a few who just bump up tons of threads all at once for personal "drek" or "I like this" one-liner comments.

While I agree with our resident Decknowledgist, I do want to offer a tip of the proverbial cap to justaposed for making a reasonable observation and providing constructive feedback, making sure to point out it's not personal.
While the BB engine that runs UC is not as customizable as I'd prefer, I'm going to tuck this issue into the back of my thinking cap and see if some solution suggests itself to address the point juxtaposed is making.
In the meantime, thanks @macstrat for your excellent deck scans, and thanks juxtaposed and Decknowledgy for keeping it classy.

1. To answer directly, I post in the original threads to keep them organized. Decknowledgy is spot on. Currently there are over 450 (almost at the 30k image mark!!!) complete deck threads and keeping them all in 1 thread would be MASSIVE. There is a google sheets file that has them all, but it is not updated as much as i would like it to be. Even that, requires the user to go looking for it.
2. This many posts is uncommon. usually its 2 or 3 at a time. I was trying to limit the posts to 10 threads a day for just this reason. I was out for health reasons for a bit, and came back and had over 60 decks that were backlogged (chemo really takes it out of you). I try to scan then in as a get them with a little bit of a delay to allow other backers to get that excitement of discovering the deck themselves.
3. I think posting the scans to the threads and bringing them back up also allows people to take another look at a deck they might have passed over, so it allows people to see if it is something they would like to add to their own collection as opposed to forget about.
4. I do read page 2!
Thank you for your constructive opinion on the matter. Everything is mostly caught up on now. I think there might be 4 or 5 left, but the mass flooding is done. I apologize if this was an inconvenience.
