If it's $10, I'm in no matter what.

Drops 8/31 according to the PPL and T11 Instagram. No word on whether it is a PPL exclusive (i.e. $$$$) drop or not.

Knowing TXI it won't be exclusive.

I have some additional photos to share. Looks pretty good in my opinion. Also appears that there might be a special edition exterior box (not sure if there is a tuck change but I doubt it).

Thanks for sharing the pictures Fenrir. Very repetive vibe from the deck but if it is in the usual TXI price realm I might bite.

I'm not sure about these. As Harvey said it's a bit repetitive but also it weirdly seems both busy and empty. I like the artwork though.

These look like they should be $20. And I'm in.

these look great and i love pirates! alas, for reasons discussed elsewhere, theory11 will not be getting my money.

I thought these would be an auto-buy for me, but the mostly repeating courts put me off. I expected better from T11, but maybe it's the collab issue.

I'd say it's a TXI problem. They do the lead design for the customers/collaborations (my assumption).

I'm not sure what t11's compulsion is to always put writing on the backs, but "Piracy Playing Cards" is almost a self-parody....
As if some friend will say "What do you have there, friend?" and you'll respond by pointing to the back "Can't you read?"
At least the Ace of Spades doesn't say "Ace of Spades" and the "King of Spades" doesn't say "King of Spades".....(wait, what?! they do?!....uhm...nevermind.)
And one-way backs. Out. GJGE

I’m a sucker for foil and I love the pirate theme. Two foils, front and back; I’m in for a deck.

I believe they are supposed to be hot stamped, so that would be par for the course.

$20? For twenty bucks I join the easy pass camp.

Although, I do admit that it's nice to see a theory11 deck with more bells and whistles. A design like Contraband with a greater budget would see me shell out $20.

I can only say from my knowledge:
Pete’s Pirate Life is a brand owned by Pete McKinnon. He was a magician for Ellusionist alongside with Chris Ramsay and Daniel Madison at that time, but now he is a photographer and a… seller of merchs of knives and axes (?) Not sure why the sudden career change, but it works for him now
But he has a bit of ego by announcing his threat: “if I found out anybody who had purchased my items, and then listed it on eBay, I will banned you - I warned you”

Did anyone pick up one of the Theory11 Piracy decks?
I'd love to know which company actually printed this deck. Does anyone know? It's definitely not USPCC.
I don't have it myself, but I've read elsewhere that the embossing doesn't match Cartamundi's decks, and that the cards have hot foil and cello-wrapping inside the box. All that points to this being a LPCC/EPCC deck produced in their China factory.

There is no mention of a printer anywhere on the tuck or the cards. On the jokers and AoS, it says USA, but I don't know if that means made/printed in USA or designed in USA. The cards are hot foiled (not Metalluxe or cold foiled) on both sides and the embossing faintly shows through on the other side of the cards, but not to the degree where any of the values of the cards are given away. The near repeating courts are a huge disappointment, but the cards handle surprisingly well and no extreme warping, so I don't think its LPCC from China.

LPCC did hotfoil decks in the past that did not warp so, I wouldn't put LPCC off the list yet.

Just got official word from T11- the Gold Star Wars deck was printed by the Expert Playing Card Co. They didn't say where this deck (and the B.I.G. deck for that matter) was printed but I would assume the same.

So everyone guessing LPCC PRC plant was kinda right. Just a different contractor in between. Thanks for clarifying @vasta.
