People beat me to posting all the time! I usually wait until the product is live so I can post a link, but we've been teasing pics on the PenguinCards IG for a few days now.
Some details:
-These have full-bleed black printing on the faces and backs
-The design work is all done in foil. Gold foil on the backs, Gold & Red foils on the faces. And of course foil on the tuck.
-The entire run has Black edge printing (not black foil gilding) for a "pure black" kind of look & feel
I believe they will be $15, launching later today.
There are also 10 decks that have Gold Foil gilded edges. These have the same tuck box & seal as all of the other decks and will be sent out randomly - the only way to know whether or not you got a gold one is to open the deck.
I've been playing with a deck for a few weeks now and really love them! They are on UltraLux with AquaFlow, but do feel a little different than any other UltraLux decks to date due to the heavy amount of ink used and the edge printing. They still fan, shuffle, and spring beautifully.

If the deck is never opened, then the possibility always exists that it's gold!

I probably have one of those special gilded Bicycle Unicorn decks but I'll never know! Same with these when I order one later

I like it. Will look very well with a black tuxedo.
Mankind is always striving to find the balance of technology and nature. Labyrinthium playing cards show that these can coexist in our lives.
Designed by Georgiana Strimbu, Labyrinthium have fully custom artwork across the board.
The cards have full-bleed black ink on the faces and the backs, but all of the design work is crafted from foil. The back design has a detailed geometric layout with leaves & flowers growing from the rigid structure. The backs are stamped from beautiful gold foil.
The faces use gold & red foils and feature stylish courts and customized number cards. The custom jokers can be used as wild cards in all of your favorite games, while two bonus gaff cards can be used for magic tricks.
The premium tuck box is made from a high-quality matte black paper, with the inner & outer designs completely crafted from gold & white foils for amazing visual contrast and a subtle luxurious texture. The box is topped off with a custom gold foil sticker seal.
Labyrinthium playing cards feature UltraLux™ Finish and AquaFlow™ Coating. This blend of casino-grade European card stock and water-based coating, with a perfect linen texture and vegetable-based inks results in a deck that handles like an absolute dream. The cards are traditionally cut with smooth edges that provide just the right amount of grip. These cards are soft enough to get to work straight out of the box, but durable enough to meet the needs of a full-time magician, cardist, or card sharp.
Available singly or in 6-packs with custom half brick collector boxes.

I would like to see more pics of the courts. Comparing the King of Spade posted above and the King of Clubs on Penguins site, they're not repeated courts but they do seem very similar. I'd like a chance to compare all of the courts but so many sites just put up 15 photos of the tuck box (at the beach, by a fireplace, staring out a window...) and only one of the courts.

Here are a couple of quick, no-frills iPhone shots of all of the courts.
This is my well-used desk deck, so there is a little bit of wear on the edges & corners.
I also just did a live stream over on the PenguinCards instagram, which is available for rewatch. I talk about the cards, and of course show them in fans, shuffles, catching the light at different angles, etc.
Hope this helps!

Yea they should make 1 deck with like a unique aspect i.e. an intentional misprint or special gild then show no indication. Bet its gonna drive the price up if it gains momentum. But the scams though...

It says it has two gaff cards. Will anyone tell me what the gaffs are?

The gaffs are a double back card and a “blank” faced card. In this case it’s not actually blank, but rather the solid black background with no other design elements on it.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I’m a big fan of the Darwin Ortiz affect, the new backer, so these cards will probably be a delightful addition

I've been quite impressed with the Ultralux stock so far. I'm looking forward to see how these will look and feel, especially with the black edges and the gold foiling.
Initial impressions of this deck are very positive, based on the gorgeous product pictures.

About the edges: in Penguin's video about the deck, Nick Locapo describes the edges as follows:
"This deck has black edge printing. This is not the same as black gilding. Rather than black foil edging, the edges have been printed with black ink. This gives the edges a matt finish rather than a glossy one."
If you're on the fence, just check out this video, which gives a great idea what everything looks like. The foil on the faces of the cards looks amazing. This easily has to be Penguin's best deck yet on their new card stock.
Worthy of special mention are two other things:
- Besides being available individually, the Labyrinthium decks are also being sold in custom half-brick boxes.
- It's a limited run of 2500 decks, and 10 random decks will have gold foil gilded edges.
