Of course I'll be in for these

Will we be getting a gaff pack again? Mini deck?

Gaff pack and marked decks are likely.

If Srdjan's past designs are any guide, I'm probably going all-in on this one.

You have my attention. I love Widakk's work so I am excited to see where this goes. The teaser image looks great.

The standard back. In monochrome. Not sure about colors just yet. Auditioning a bunch of options.

I don’t often post on here (hope to rectify that), but as a longtime lurker I felt the need to emerge to say ‘man, that is one gorgeous back design’.

Well that looks nice! I love his art style. Does anyone have a complete list of decks he has done?

I think Widdak is most famous for The Devil in the Details and The Great Creator. Both were collaborations with Riffle Shuffle. He also did the planets decks with Vanda that are very popular.
Omar, I am loving the back design. Can't wait to see more.

I have to confess, I've been finding Vidakovic's courts, in general, have a sameness to each other that leaves me feeling "well, if you have one deck, you kinda have them all." Don't get me wrong: they're very good. But for me so far, a little bit of Vidakovic goes a long way.
But I gotta agree with everyone else on this thread: this card back is off the freakin' hook.
Omar managed to elicit Cantrell's best work to date for Successor (another artist for whom I had been previously feeling that, well, if you owned Standards, you pretty much owned everything he's ever done). I'm curious to see if this collaboration similarly inspires Vidakovic to take his style to the next level.

I think the question has been answered but do feel free to use my Artist reference guide if you ever need:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Kg ... IcEpQ/edit
Srdjan Vidakovic (Widakk): The Planets Collection, Devil’s in the Details series, SW Erdnase (New Garden Society Studio), NOC Luxury Collection (with Pandrea/Yu), Stories (Stories has sensational artwork by Widakk but the KS producer, Vanda, has failed to produce the deck), The Great Creator, Beetlebacks (under development for The Gentleman Wake)

The NOC luxury collection? Oh yeah, completely forgot about that. The tucks were nice, but NOCs were kinda a waste of his talent as he didn't need to do any of the cards.

what happened to Vanda anyway? Are they still relevant?

Relevant only insofar as they still owe me a few hundred dollars for Stories along with another $57,000 to other backers not to mention what he took in backerkit. Oh, and Kickstarter has left the "pre-order" button up on Stories which goes to his web site where you can still pay for a phantom deck that will never be delivered.

I like the fun details of the glasses and the moustache for the rhino beetle on what - I assume - is the Dynastinæ tuck box draft. Would be fun to have them on the back design as well. While not an advocate against monochrome back designs per se, I tend to dislike them more and more. Widakk's engraving like art style of course lends itself towards being monochrome but still, it bugs me a bit.
Let's see what the other editions look like. 6/7 again? Or a little more modest this time?

Definitely more modest. 4-5 versions. A standard “pair” of colors. A black and gold variant. The Dynastinae. And if there’s a KS exclusive. We may have marked versions of the standard editions. A gaff pack will be a stretch goal. The campaign will be a stretch goal style campaign. With the black and gold versions, marked versions, gaff pack and KS editions likely releasing later in.

I feel like there are a lot of different styles mixed into this one deck. And they mesh beautifully. Loving it so far!

Not too many other creators you could have partnered with that would have interested me, but widdak is definitely one! Great design!

Jackson and I had some conversations way back about working together. But his brand has grown so much it really wouldn’t make sense for him to share profits in any way. Jody also successfully runs his own campaigns. Gio and I have discussed it and I think, although Gio has a great thing going, my involvement would potentially open up his work to more people (based on average backer numbers of our last few campaigns) but also I would potentially push and influence gio to work in new and different Elements into his style.
I’d love to work with Rick Davidson on a deck. We talked about it once but it never materialized. Russ Gray and Jeff Trish are on my list. Russ and I have agreed in principal to working on something in the future already. I’m currently managing and art directing a deck by Dan Gretta for wyrmwood as well as one by tarot artist Xia Hunt also for wyrmwood. Kevin Cantrell and I are working on a subscription service that promises 12 luxury decks (gilded and foiled) a year for $35 a month.

Yeah, I figured Jackson was too much a "brand" now for partnering. Your taste aligns with mine most of the time, so anyone you partner with could produce a deck I'd want, it just isn't guaranteed for me. Thanks for being curious about what your "fans" like.
