Horrible artwork and (non-)transitions. Definitely not for me.

It's a shame they spend money designing these decks but we can't buy them. Only for the wealthy.

Why not show some of the number cards? AoS doesn't show me enough. Would rather have the card backs colored like the tuck box and not just white. Pass even if it was available.

I think the card back would have looked better with the coloured version on the tuck rather than the more basic (and bland) red and white version. But overall the courts just aren't very appealing. They look like they were made using flash software from 2006. That flat, browser animation style the designer has used is very unattractive to my eye.

Wow, tough crowd. :)

I actually like the look of these a lot, especially the court cards look fun and playful, and the high amount of customization really appeals to me.

I agree that it would be nice to see some number cards though, to see what the pips look like on those, and the level of customization there.

As for the limited availability, I guess that's because Penguin Magic is experimenting with a TGIF (Today Get It Free) model, where these are only offered as free rewards for physical purchases over $100. It probably works well for them, otherwise they wouldn't run it, but for collectors like us it does make it difficult to get hold of decks like these.

Still, I'm glad that they're contributing as they are to the playing card industry. In the past couple of years they have been putting out custom decks on a monthly basis (and those can be purchased easily), and it's great to see that they recognize that the custom playing card industry is a viable space for them to be contributing towards.

I like the design, myself. Would look cool with a metallic gilding color that matches that fuscia-like color. :)

I like these and think they look great. I would buy a few but their business model for the decks makes it prohibitive. I can't imagine all 500 are given away or sold for all these types of decks they have now.
