I had a few last night as well, and they looked different from normal (as I get them from time to time) - think there was a hardware change over at the ISP

Site seems to be a lot snappier in response for me today - so I think it was a needed upgrade

Been on and off for me that last few days. My QC engineer brother says this blinking is what happens right before "PFFFFT." I hope wise Gandolf is right though.

And today in Aus
If I was a designer/card industry reliant, I would be concerned about Alex owning this forum and P52 as they are both important to the industry and of late one cannot be sure whether any day could be their last day of existence

I would hope there's an opportunity for us to buy it back rather than him shut it down. I worry it'll be sold to a third party that's not too involved in the forum itself, which would suck.

So where do we all meet if this site goes down permanently?

Jocu's Pip/Tuck?

I mean, it's the same site software and most people on here are also already on there.

Probably but having that be in this forum isn't gotten get read by except a few hardcore members. Even I rarely come to this part of UC.

Don't you use 'New Posts' in the Quick links to see everything posted since you last visited?
IMO the only way to keep up on a forum

Nope, I go to my usual sub-forums and read unreads there (primarily New & Custom Decks, General Playing Cards Discussion and Personal (member) BUY / SELL / TRADE / EBAY / ISO / CoOp. None of the rest really interest me.

They are mostly what you get from 'New Posts' and you would also find out what forum we have all had to go to LOL

I understand what you are saying of course but the all New Posts might find you the occasional gem :D

I am the sole moderator of an International Harness Racing forum and to cater for readers I put a USA thread, a NZ thread etc in the Australian sub forum even though they had their own sub forums as I knew that 'Australia' was pretty much the only one that anybody visited

This is back for me tonight when I press on the new & custom decks section, with the site sometimes slow to load. Hopefully it's temporary.
