I like the art style, but that's kind of disappointing

funny that in the second picture posted here the corner is damaged. anyway, looks like it will be a neat deck but its a no for me.

Might be a glitch, try hard refreshing as it is showing much cheaper for me for 4 decks. These are insanely colorful and trippy, had to cop a few. Looks to be along the same vein as Grateful Dead, which I absolutely loved. Nice to see a fun/lighthearted release from them like this

I got the email from Theory 11 for this deck, and I'm a little disappointed that Morty is the same artwork on all 4 Kings, with just different color palettes.
But I will still eventually buy one deck. Looks colorful, cool and zany, even with the repeating artwork.

Looks to be Rick on the Kings, Morty on the Jacks, and then each Queen and Ace is a different character, with Jerry being a Joker card I assume?

Seeing how they go out of their way to hide that - super simple to show the cards on their website - instead they went with super misleading text:

I just tried it again in a Private window still $20 for 4 decks to Ohio. If I reduce it to 3 decks, it is $7.

Tried both Paypal and not, and the shipping is to Ohio, still $20.

How is that misleading? All of the cards are custom...

Scroll through the carousel of images at the top on the mobile site and there's tons of images there even showing the number cards, basically everything in the deck. I don't think they're trying to hide anything...

Might have to completely force close your browser and clear cache maybe, that's helped me in the past

The loose use of custom to mean “re-color of same art” has been discussed and I would consider it more of a legal loophole than I would honest description - but I’ll leave it up to the courts.

I don't think it's a loose use of custom. The box art, sticker seal, corner pip index font type, pip design, and character cards are all custom designed. If 6 cards out of the entire deck re-uses the two main characters of the franchise with different color schemes, I wouldn't consider that to be some big lie to pull over on customers. If anything this is in line with their Grateful Dead deck, and both are super out-there when compared to other usual t11 decks. I feel like it's a positive for them to break out of their usual design philosophy and offer something uniquely different like this.

I will have to agree on all those points - I can always wish for more, but there is more than enough to love there

I tend to keep disliking fan milking. Rick and Morty is the series and not the fan service. I'll keep watching the episodes and keep saying nay to merchandise.

for me, I will definitely get one due to I am a fan of Rick and Morty before they kicked out Roiland. This season is so far so good right now and the deck is average Theory11 design.

Must be nice to have such a strong moral compass. However you might be in the wrong place and time.

Has nothing to do with moral imho. TXI atleast puts some effort into their liscenced decks but not to an extent where I personally see it being worth my money. Milking in regards to this specific deck might be an exaggoration but you know me, I love me a good exaggoration. In a realm where I wouldn't be interested in other hobbies too, I might even have picked up this deck.
