Those arent proofs. Those are final products.

I don't like to advertise my patreon very much, right now. People seem to get all huffy because SPIRITS isn't in hands yet.

People don't seem to understand the difference between complex, intricate designs with large print volumes taking a lot longer to create and print than a print run of 25 decks or less with just color printing.

Personally I would rather have 2-4 really good decks in a year than 6-10 of varying quality.

Pretty sure when I said that I was hoping for a ritual deck as good or better than spirits and nothing else, released at a time when people would have seen and been happy with the spirits deck and willing to back ritual.

Patreon decks weren't even a thing I was considering at the time.

It's not just you. A bunch of people, ranging from instagram to Facebook and reddit even.

Also, to be fair, I only release 6 decks a year on my patreon, and then have 5 alternate Editions of those decks. Then I put all my intricate and crazy ideas into my 1-2 kickstarters a year.

Well let’s be fair, I absolutely want him to work on ritual and early on more than recently he was using the Patreon to good result soliciting feedback on art for it. (And he’s posted more final art for it recently).

A 25 deck run of just straight printing is a lot faster than thousands of decks with different foils, glows, tucks, etc.

My first Patreon deck GRAFF is going to be in my hands next week and shipped out to patrons the same week.

So, what do you want me to do? Fade into obscurity, and twiddle my thumbs until SPIRITS is all shipped out and recieved?

I'm hustling to make my mark, with quality products and a recognizable style.

SPIRITS will be fulfilled.

Most of yall don't know, but I had to switch printers near the end of the campaign. Which meant I had to REDO every single card and tuck box for 5 different variations to the new printers specs.

That took some time.

As far as I'm concerned, SPIRITS is moving a lot faster than some campaigns from even BIG names creators. I post updates whenever I get them, and I am constantly working towards my goals.

You don't have to subscribe to my Patreon, but just for a second, realize that it's not just click and print. Complex designs take time.

I'm just using my time wisely.

Yea! My patrons actually helped me with my recent RITUAL digital proofs. The general concensus was that the font was hard to read, so I changed it.

I used to have to use reddit, or forums like this one.

But I find that th3 advice and suggestions people give me that are my patrons is way more sincere and thought out, while also wanting me to succeed.

RITUAL is in the mid design phases currently. 2 suits are already done.
I've created rules for a card game that stems from the lore of the deck.

I'm putting together a hardcover artbook/lorebook/rulebook that will also contain some stuff for people who play Dungeons and Dragons that want to include my characters and worldbuilding in their games.

I'm working with a jewelry producer to make quality pendants.

I'm creating a 3d printed collectors case for all 4 variations of RITUAL:

RITUAL, PROFANE, AGONY, and ANIMASSIS.

The case is also a puzzle box that requires the user to know how to open it. Not only that but the case doubles as a play area for the card game I've created.

Most likely indeed, since they're a target audience already and oppossed to others already have put money where their mouth is.

For promotion though; I'd still promote the Patreon either in the general section here or here if you plan a definite deck like Aphrodite anyways. Promotion should be as broad as possible. Different people (aka potentional customers) use different platforms. Not that I was really interested in the deck but I just randomly stumbled across it on instagram when it was to late already.

That's completely fair. However, I put out a new deck every 3 months for Patrons. And like I said earlier, I'm already under fire for having a patreon at all haha. I'll start advertising here though.

If you do something that is out there, you'll always be under fire, haha. No worries about that.
Some will love your work, some will like it and for some it won't be for them after all. Same goes for descision you'll make. Some will approve them and some won't.

Just sign up for my patreon! Cut off was the 30th of Nov, but the first 5 days after cutoff are usually a grace period, so people can pay their bills first if they need to or whatever.

I'll move the cutoff dates of future releases to show this.

I guess playability is the least concern with your decks but the font used for the indices is quite bad in that regard. Italic fonts rarely work well. I don't see it particularly matching to the shown artwork either.
I like the shown court though. I guess font as it would kill the deck but since it's Patreon exclusive anyways, I don't have to make a purchase descision .

not super into pink but i do like that tuck design and the courts.

I actually agree, the "better" (higher patreon level) version of this is the same teal as the spirits deck, which looks better, but its a valentine deck, whatcha going to do?
