It was listed as New (in original packaging) - should it have been in cello G?

No cello for Crypt but a brown outer box should’ve come with this deck like they all did. Without it, I consider this used-unopened.
I know the lower numbers got a black sticker where the higher numbers didn’t include it. I think Lotrék mentions it while discussing Mystery II.

Crypt can be opened from the top without breaking the seal, so ensure you have all 52 cards plus two jokers when you get it. If you open it this way though, you miss something. That's all I can say.

Is that the outer box shown in pics 1 & 3 of the listing because the bottom of the tuck (pic 2) looks much darker

That's the same tuck box, just the lighting is different. It was then housed in a plain kraft paper box, seen here:
