art on the base deck is a little...weak (Jack is just a guy with a pitchfork)
some of the more advanced decks look ok but I tend to think this campaign is biting off more than they should.
plus the "best edition only comes in a brick"

Am I the only person that doesn't take ks campaigns seriously when they only need approx 15 backers to fund?

I dislike having to buy a whole brick just to get the special one I want. Also, could you let me know who the printer is?
agree that some parts of the art seem a bit weaker compared to the tuck design.
also have the same question as the comment section: 'Has AI been used to create this project?'"

No, you are not.
And the creator has abandoned ship in terms of backer communication since the day the project launched and reached its symbolic goal with those 15 backers.
Not a good sign for any creator.

Give him a chance! It only launched 2 days ago

Same. Kinda sucks having to shell out over £100 just to get a specific deck.

Hope we're wrong. With each hit to collectors i lose some confidence in the hobby.

I hope so too for everyone's sake.
But please don't lose confidence in the hobby if this one turns out bad.
There will always be the riskier investments, not just for Kickstarter but for any kind of online trade.
Even just for the crowdfunding platforms there are some fundamental advice for both debutant creators and newbie backers to follow. In this case a multitude of the most basic advice have been ignored on both sides which pave the way for a potentially bad experience.

Interesting idea to have one-way and two-way variations on this.
Like the gold version of that back. The art itself goes alright, with more preference to the two-ways.
I wish there was a little more going on with the background of the courts.
Aside from the clubs that have a clear theme of fire going on, I wish there is a little more cohesion between the suits there (I think the diamonds are meant to be monsters and the hearts are vampires, but the Jack kinda looks like a Zombie?)
Of course, I think the issue have here is the Kickstarter Campaign itself, between the low backer requirement and the lack of communications.
I guess we'll see where this goes.

The creator stopped responding to backers a few hours after launch and this still hasn't changed.
It has now been 13 days without any communication to backers even though someone has logged into the project account on an almost daily basis.

Rewards have an estimated delivery of December 2024 but the project is all quiet.
No updates have been posted since the project funded on Kickstarter and zero replies have been given to backers in the comments section since the day when the project first launched.

As you can see on the Kickstarter page, the creator's name is Wai Shan Chung, who is also one of the designers of the Unity Deck V2. Dexter made an update with his/her design just two days ago and has been a great help in promoting this project in the DripDrop Facebook group. I think it would be a good idea to ask Dexter if he can still get in touch with Wai Shan Chung.

Was curious about this and decided to see what's going on. She updated on Jan 9 with physical card samples. So this project is still live. Glad this wasn't another abandoned project.
Production Update! Holographic samples received and upcoming factory visit.

Nice back design. The rest doesn’t bite me enough to suck funds outta me wallet.
