The art on these cards looks genuine and interesting.
It deserves to be shown as a centerpiece and in large formats, not hidden in microscopic grids.

Shame about the tuck for me. Cards are super cool but the box seems a bit plain in comparison.

They mention 1-10 and J Q K but there can’t be if only 48 cards

Yeah, I couldn't make sense of that part. They must've done the math wrong?
The art is exquisite but this is a campaign that may have had more success with just one version.

Yeah the math is definitely wrong lol. The original pack is 48 cards. I think the creator made a poor comparison between their suit structures that doesn't really make sense. It would be like me handing a tarot user a deck of 52 playing cards and saying "enjoy this deck with Pages, Knights, Queens, and Kings". It's a court card short so why make that comparison instead of explaining this deck's unique suit structure?
I feel like I understand what they were trying to do but it's just incorrect

Now that I am home and reading on my desktop I see that further down they did say
Cards are numbered 1 - 10 with Roman numerals, each number increasing in status and hierarchy - with the King and Queen at the top as the only cards without titles or number
Does anybody have the Piatnik version of this deck?

Love the artwork for this project, but I have my hesitations.
- First time creator who is promising shipping in two months after the campaign is closed
- Standard edition is listed as "Perfect for modern game play..." though it only has 48 cards
- The Authentic edition is $52 (vs $20 for the standard). While it is a larger size and we are promised gold & silver foil accents, the tuck box and cards are the same design. No mention of gilding. How is this price difference justified?
- I don't see any prototypes which is the bare minimum for a new creator (IMO)
- No indication of printer or shipping partners
While I wish the creator the best, I am skeptical about the timeframe, the lack of pertinent information, and the lack of any physical prototypes. I would urge strong caution with this one as I don't think the creator did their homework.

That is an interesting one G but I think they may have cleaned it up to much and lost some of the antique feel with the borders - I cannot find that edition on P52 at all
The Piatnik is said to have kept the imperfections inherent with the block printing of the 15thC
