[More here over the next few days, including the KS link when it goes 'live' at 2PM EDT (New York City time) this Saturday, the 1st of November]
Hi there guys.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for the Evil Deck printed (I'll post some info about it later), I'm working on this new deck.
The temporary name is Delirium, but it can change.
The alternative names I thought are "Insomnia" and "Golconda".
A bit more classical than Evil and Good Deck.... but crazy anyways.
I'm also testing some different colors:

- Delirium

- Acid

- Dark
Suggestions are really appreciated, especially on name and colors!
Hope you like it!
Cheers
Giovanni

@wahl0108: Probably the printer will be EPCC or LPCC. I'm focused on tuckbox, courts and back at the moment, but of course pips are next (standard this time, not crazy as Evil/Good deck)
@Eoghann: I like the green set too. I'm trying a lot of crazy colors because I wanted it colorful and crazy, but I also like simple colors as red and blue
@badpete69 : Thank you!

Haha I think if the colours were more pale it would be perfect for the deck, but I love how crazy and fun this is !!

Thank you guys!
@Volant - I tried those pale combinations, I'm really liking them!

- Acid Pale

- Currency
I may use a special color scheme (a super acid or fluo, or the "currency" one) as a stretch goal.
Oh another hint. I want make those cards smooth (not linen), because I think it will fit the design more. What do you think?

Big thumbs down for a smooth finish, definitely keep it linen. I don't see how the finish of a deck fit or not fit any design. Better to stay with a finish that will make the cards handle better longer.

Thanks guys for the comments!
@sinjin7: I am not sure about the finish - I have on my desk a deck of Modiano Cards, made with thick paper but very smooth and polish and I was wondering this touch feeling on Delirium Deck. But it was only an idea, if the smooth finish will make cards less durable, I'll go linen for sure!

Haha. Say that in a couple of years and people will say Huh? I like the fact he is not scared to semi-obscure the suit indicator. You can always bend the rules...

Re finish: If this ends up being two decks each could have a different feel. Aloys Unicorns has two variante, one with smooth and the other Linoid (linen) finish.
Not necessariyl advocating one way or the other - but an idea for the melting pot!

Hi guys, here is the KoD
I have a plan on this deck, but I want share it with you to have opinions before Kickstarting it.
I want start with a low funding goal, but I want that the deck itself will be significantly improved every stretch goal I'll reach.
For example - I start with a really low goal of 4k, that, if reached, will get the deck printed with MPC. If I reach the first stretch goal of 8K, I'll print it with Legends or EPCC (haven't decided yet) with a special tuck box with holographic foil. If I reach 9k, embossing - 10k seal and so on.
What do you think? It's a good idea?
Oh - I also wanted to share my new brand website,
http://www.thirdway.it" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . It's work in progress, so suggestions are welcome.
Thank you and cheers
Giovanni

You know, I don't think I can recall anyone doing an MPC funding goal with a LPCC stretch goal before (not anyone of significance, anyway). So I suppose it's as much of a risk as anything else. Would be interesting to see what happens, but I suppose there won't be any conclusions to draw from it until more people have done it (bigger sample size).
I say go for it

I'd say go for it. Start small and build on that. MPC is stepping up their game so if it only reached that goal I'd be happy.

Hi guys,
More crazy ideas (I'm not sure of everything, just ideas. Let me know what you think)!
As I said, I will print this deck with MPC if the goal (4k) is reached and Epcc if I reach the first stretch goal (8k).
But this is not a big change for the backers. So I decide to make Delirium "level up" every stretch goal, with a "dramatic" change if the first one is reached: the Delirium Standard will become Delirium "Prism", with an amazing holographic paper tuck box. Everyone pledged for a "standard" will have a "prism" instead.
Every stretch goal after the first (very short, only +1K every stretch goal) the Delirium Prism will level up again, with embossing, inner printing, seal, extra cards (up to +3 cards). I want do this to incentivate backers to share the campaign more (the more you share, the precious it gets)
Also, I am planning a new version, Delirium "Wealth" unlocked at 16K. You can imagine how it will be.
Here is a standard and a print preview

I liked the orange tuck. These are good designs so we'll be watching.

@Bikefanatic - Yeah, the orange one was cool too

It was a difficult choice. I hope you like the green one also.
I find the prismatic paper with Epcc. It's a new stock paper, never used before. Very bright and mat, so I can print easily the acid green and the blue. I really hope to reach the Prism stretch goal
Here is a rendering of the Delirium Prism, more renderings coming on the

Me too. The orange tuck had more of the "crazy" vibe.

I agree, but I like the green/white tuck too. The Orange was nuts, I loved it.
