Hi folks,

Some of you may have noticed on our Facebook or Instagram accounts that we have received the tuck proofs for the second edition LUXX decks.

The idea was to create a 'shadow' edition, from that initial concept Randy has come with with two GREAT looking tucks, pictured below. You may have noticed a couple of posts some time ago showing off the back designs also - I had talked with Lawrence about foiling these backs with silver and gold, but for various reasons (availability, practicality for a larger run deck) decided against it. You might (literally might - it's not even a thought process at the moment) see a one-off foiled version in the future if we can source the right foils. This is not a tease, it is definitely not currently planned - but I would love to do that down the line if it's ever possible.

Second Edition LUXX: Shadow Edition

Pre-Orders Start April 30th (TBC) for a 2 week window, we then expect to received stock by May 30th (TBC) and all pre-orders will be despatched before the decks are released fully.

~Metallic Gold and Silvers on backs and Metallic Gold and Reds on faces. (backs have been tweaked a little since proofs and last images, so will share those when we have them)
~The same 'traditional with a twist' faces - tweaked pips and courts.
~500 of each deck will have a holographic seal, and will be sold during the pre-order stage only or part of bricks later on. (You will be able to order non-seal decks right away too if that's what you prefer)
~Free custom LUXX brick box for purchases of split bricks.
~Free custom LUXX brick box for purchases of multi bricks (3 orange v1, 3 blue v1, 3 gold v2, 3 silver v2)


~A new, lower price of £7.99 (2 or more £7.49)
~A pre-order price of £6.99 (2 or more £6.49)
~A print run of 3000 of each colour - these decks are intended to be a running line in our store. The sealed 500 of each are to satisfy those who would like something a little more limited!

You are not the first to say that, and i'm sure won't be the last. Wish I could do stuff like that, but we are literally a small family business - it's a phrase used a lot, but it's true!

I'm afraid we can't do that, sorry. I'm not willing to take cash for something we don't have a confirmed shipping date for. Once I know for certain when it's going to arrive, and when the orders will go out - then we will cement the pre-order date.

I don't think it's ethical or fair to take money for something when we don't really know when it's going to arrive - sorry!

That's a sexy card back. I love the instant gratification of these not being a Kickstarter, and when I use them all up. I can get MOAR!

Thanks Fes, appreciate it. Instant gratification is one way of putting it. We're working on more instant gratification later in 2015 too

Well - the only thing I can really confirm at the moment - we hope to have another release this year from a different designer.

That's a great idea, have another designer create his vision of the Luxx.

Although I didn't say it was a LUXX release in that last post, i guess it's in this thread so that was a good guess.

We are working on LUXX becoming a brand for us, more than just one deck or design. So all being well the next deck will carry the LUXX branding also. We will have some more news once v2 LUXX has been released.

I would rather that than the Madison series, lol

We've now listed these on our site for people to add their emails to be informed when theya re available, something that was very popular last time.

The first 500 of each deck will have a special holographic seal and will be available for sale individually only during the pre-order window - April 30th for 2 weeks.

Standard pricing for these decks will be £7.99 or £7.49 each for 2. Pre-order pricing will be £6.99 and £6.49, with our lowest LUXX pricing yet for a brick - 12 v2 decks for £71.99.

We hope to have better photos soon when we get a sample deck, these photos are from the proofs.
