I have been eyeing this project and the only things that are turning me off are the printer and price...might have to bite the bullet on this as the idea is quite unique and very interesting

(edit) Love the artist's attitude and the art is really fantastic, so I bit the bullet...plus, I am sucker for gilded decks :ugdance:

Hi there - I'm Immy, I paint the Cryptic Cards. Thanks so much for your lovely words about my card designs, and for sharing the Cryptic Cards kickstarter link! It's much appreciated :D I just dropped by to say a) thank you, and b) the best way to contact me with any questions is Kickstarter messaging (I noticed a comment on the printer etc, so feel free to ping me a message me there.) I'm not at a computer much unless I'm editing, so I find KS easy to manage from a phone... although I will try and come back to this forum now I've discovered it! Cheers and have a great weekend all :)

Immy has posted in a update that these cards will be printed by Ivory Graphics in the U.K.

D.M.C`S Sharks & White Sharks along with his marked decks were all printed by this company.

Yep, they used to be "Lemon", I'm fairly certain. I don't remember specific decks, but maybe I'm thinking about Molax's "Fire & Brimstone"? Not certain.

Not what we're used to but definitely above the incidental printers we've seen lately like "Ad Magic" and the like. Seems I recall they are actually contracted out to CartiMundi in Belgium, but I could be dead wrong about that part.

Immy - I added you to the "Deck Artist" group - welcome to UC!

Hi there - just a quick note to say I'm following up uncut sheet after a few requests, hope I can update you when the printers are back on Monday :)
Enjoy the rest of the weekend all!

Hi all - sad news, our printers can't supply uncut sheet for small print runs. I'm investigating alternative options, but will mainly be focusing on completing some of the artwork for the 3 tuck box design before the KS finishes. Better news; the 66 cards deck reward which includes 10 extra cards is up now.
Thanks, and enjoy the rest of your week :)

Good evening/morning/afternoon (depending where on't planet you are!)

Just a quick heads up - by request I've added a brick, & a half-brick, of standard decks to the kickstarter. It's the mothing hour here in the UK, so I'm going to post an update in the morning. Thought I'd stick my head round the door here on my way out, so if anyone wants to sneak in early before I post the update, feel free! :D

Thanks and have a great weekend all,
Immy

You can see it on one of the project updates

Hi there - as above, the card back design is in one of the early updates (the first one after the KS reached its goal :) However, its a good point, and I'll add it to the KS story page before next update. The standard deck tuck is the design I'm currently painting. This Friday's update will contain more on that! :D
Thanks and have a great evening,
Immy

Hi there - just a note for anyone who missed my Kickstarter, the Cryptic Cards are now available in my Etsy store at https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ImmySmithArt :) They're printed by Cartamundi UK and you can see the original Kickstarter here - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/im ... aying-card

Right now I'm awaiting replacement tucks from Cartamundi for some that were faulty - once I receive those, Etsy items for 2/3/half-brick & brick will be added to the store.
Big thanks to all the UC ppl who supported this project, it's my first deck and I really appreciated all your help and advice! :D :D

Just a "keep up" note for those that haven't really looked since early on - she had to change printers to Cartamundi, and they weren't able to provide gilded decks as she originally intended.

The end result for these turned out simply fabulous! I try not to cross post, but here's one pix of my four Joker prints:

I will post a pix of the uncut when I open the #1 & #2 signed sheets - but only in the "Look What I Added..." thread.

She's got a good number left, or I might be persuaded to sell you the #2 of 100 I have already here in the states. You just don't see 56 custom cards - usually just the faces or faces & aces plus jokers.

Although that wasn't the intention, these are semi-transformational due to the way she moves the pips around on the lower pip cards.
