unfortunately i can't do anything when somebody decides to use the same name. Stockholm17 was very well aware of that my Gemini deck will be produced. It was a well known fact a year ago.
All we can now do is to accept this situation.

Dear Pint5on,

First of all: I unveiled Gemini on April 25 2015, therefore I had already decided the name. Since then I posted dozens of drawings and sketches about the deck and the work in progress. I did it here, on facebook and instagram (check the dates and the hashtags).
A few days later you came out with a bunch of cardistry-designed decks and one of them was Gemini Portobello (if i am not wrong).
After a while you launched on indiegogo and failed. Meanwhile I worked on the design and the illustration, it is a one-year project and I am almost done.
My deck is based on a concept and a theme that is related to Gemini constellation (and astrology) and the twins. Yours is an abstract back design with - apparently - a Vegas casino name.
My deck is fully custom and illustrated. Yours is standard cardistry thingy.
Now, with all that said. You cannot do anything indeed, because I am keeping the name and you too. The decks are so different that only an idiot can confuse them.
Also, there are already a bunch of Gemini decks around (ugly, nice, old, new) and Gemini is a very common name since 1/12 of the western world population is born under this astrological sign.

All i can say that i posted first picture of Gemini deck (it was a different design tho) on Instagram April 24th, 2015. So one day before you. Then you posted.
Also, my zodiac sign is Gemini. So, this isn't just a random word that i decided to use for my brand.

All in all, there are a lot of people who will enjoy your deck and i'm sure there are plenty of people who will enjoy my deck.

There are jerries nuggets, then there are chickens.
There are golden nuggets, then there are golden showers.
There are gemini's, then there are LG's

I'll be looking to see what this deck has and will probably end up getting it. I personally don't see a problem with the name, there are so many decks out there with the same name and these 2 decks are nothing alike in design. I'm sure later on this one will be referred as "Gemini Casino" and not "Gemini".

You're right- i wasn't trying to start any ish here, just pointing something out. As time passes I think people will remember both decks individually without any association to the other. Like Lorenzo said they are very different. The only thing they have in common *at the moment* is that they're both named Gemini and they're both coming out soon.

As this is a casino deck i kept the courts standard. The courts do feature really bright and vibrant red and yellow colours to match the back.

I love Dunes Blue color on cards but to me this is pretty much a Dunes Casino ripoff.

Besides buying a new deck that looks like an old casino deck is like buying a Ferrari that has the motor from a Fiat. It may look nice, it might work but there really isn't a point.

Well he did mention the private launch sign-up in his initial post and if you signed up you received a message with the password at launch. It's all there.

Same, super quick turnaround.
Although, and in-line with (I think) The first comment on the thread, I saw Gemini on the packaging and immediately thought it was a STKHLM17 Gemini deck something, then realized it wasn't, then realized there was no reason it would be, then felt dumb.
Actually, embarrassingly, every time I see this thread has an unread post I get excited because I still assume this is the STKHLM17 thread.

I purchased some of these after they were listed as available in a post here. They weren't super interesting, but I am a fan of that blue color and it looked like a magician-friendly deck. I am really happy with the handling of this deck so far. It fans and spreads well. It faros from bottom to top very well due to the standard cut. It doesn't seem to work so well top down, but that is to be expected. I like the standard faces. The jokers are boring but appropriate for a faux casino. I am curious to see how they hold up. I was hesitant to get these since I prefer USPCC decks, but I am really happy I picked these up.

I missed out on these so if anyone has any extras they'd like to sell PM me.
