EL DORADO - PART 1 launching 16/09/16

The first installment of a new collection of decks called "EL DORADO"
This group of cards is dedicated to the Mayan culture, it's symbolism, codex, poems, and jewelry.
Just like the previous decks I created, these ones are made also to impulse culture to new and old generations trough games like playing cards and some others.
All the art of the codex used on the cards will be printed using metallic pantones and if we sell over 750 decks we will use golden ink to create a "Dorado" atmosphere. The same for the back of every card.
For the Kings I used some emperors and Gods shining in their duties. The Queens are illustrated with Mayan ladies executing some tasks. Finally the Jacks, my favorites, have some animals having fun. They all come from existing ancient codex.

I'll never try to understand why creators make playing cards, want people to get them but the pips are the same color and all the cards look alike.

I really like the idea here, and I'm always a big fan of shiny, but at the same time, I'm not as interested in monochromatic decks, for what it's worth.

I agree, why are all the suits the same color?

Regardless, if you don't change that I can almost guarantee this won't fund. I for one will just about never back a deck with only two colors
especially if all the suits are the same color. That instantly makes this an unplayable deck and a deck that isn't good for magic. You're limiting the use of your deck which in turn will limit the number of backers. I implore you to reconsider changing the suit colors for your own good.

If I did what you ask me my message will lose it's meaning. I know many of card creators do this for money, I really don't. I have my message to give> There's no point on drawing a lot of lines and colors on the cards if it has no message at all. I don't want people to play with my cards or do magic with them I want them to collect them. I'm an artist, not a card creator.
You can find my post about Aztec codex, many people didn't like it because there were blood spots on the cards. I sold 280 decks... not many right? Months passed and the other 220 decks I extra printed were sold for $15 dollars instead of $10. At the end I sold them all and made extra money out of them.
El Dorado 2 Incas will have red and blue shinny colors besides the gold one. I hope you'll like those better

No no, y'all right about your comments. I can't prove you wrong, because you are not. I'm just focusing on something different. It's all about the message. Thanks for all the observations!

Just how people don't open their decks, just to admire the tuck, you want people just to admire the cards as an art deck and not to play with them?
You're not a card creator but just made a card deck.
Hmmmmmmm

One solution could be to have a coloured border around you suit indicator and indices and leave everything else gold.
At least then the deck "could" be playable
