Hello there guys i can finally present to you the Enigma Deck
Mexico's first deck designed for your cardistry and magic needs.
Designed in collaboration with Anagrama Studio
Available: NOW on Indie gogo
We decided to go for Indie gogo since we are from México a country that is unfortunately not convered by Kickstarter. (we tried everything to be able to be on kickstarter but it was just not possible for us).
The funding goal will be a FIXED one, we want to be as transparent as possible with all of you
We will be printing with Expert Playing Card Company and we will be going for a limited run of 1000 decks never to be reprinted again.
Now some of our story.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enigma Cards is an established playing card company with a passion for cardistry and magic based in Monterrey, México and its currently México’s best and biggest playing card store.
We have been thinking of creating a deck of cards for a couple of years now so we set a challenge to ourselves, how could we reimagine a deck of cards different from what is available right now.
The concept of the deck is based on the meaning of the word enigma.
- enigma: a puzzling or inexplicable occurrence -
We wanted to transfer that definition without making an overly complicated design.
Hope you guys like it

We are aware of that other deck. Thats why we named ours enigma playing cards. As for the site, well we did explain why we had to use indie gogo.

Can't blame the project creator for living in Mexico, sucks that KS doesn't support campaigns from there...though I don't love Indie Gogo, at least the creator did a Fixed Funding Project so that if it doesn't fund, I get my money back. I'm in for an EB

hecrob,
What's your stretch goal amount to go from standard courts to the minimalistic courts?
Thanks.

That's a lot of stretch goals considering the chances of funding aren't great.

... with no guide as to how many USD (or other currency) this might approximate to. FYI, 100 MXN = $4.90 USD (approx).
Hence the EB 1 deck ($150MXN) is about $11.30 USD with postage. (no postage is included in the pledge levels)
However, there is only postage available to US and Mexico. Internationals are excluded (or at least not included).

Hi guys!
Im sorry we are still not displaying the english version of the campaign but we did a "private" launch for the México Kickstarter site (we were not able to do it last time so we went with indie gogo), we will have a full english campaign on Friday.
Im guessing we are also going to create a new topic for you guys to be able to comment on the campaign.
Also I was told that US backers will see the campaign in US dollars, if you are not seeing that $100.00MXN is roughly $5.00USD
We learned a lot from the last campaign we did and are now offering a lot of new stuff for the backers and are trying to create a way better box this time.

Why the switch from green backs to black?

Because of feedback from backers, gree was our first vision of the decks we wanted to do something truly unique but we were met with a lot of rejection so we changed the color. We were going to offer black as a V2 of the deck.
