I like it! Great artwork and concept. Past experience proves It's tricky to run a campaign where the cards are printed in two different factories but it's a risk I'm willing to take. Backed! Considering the detail to the tuck the prices aren't all that bad either.

Maybe a mod wants to merge this with the thread from Custom Deck Drafting Board.

I like this deck and backed it, but it's a bit strange that the goal is only 7500$.
Usually a campaign for only 1 deck is in that range, but they are going to do 2 decks with different printers :?

I really like these decks, went for unbranded but if it were to be in trouble, I would back both to fund.

To me the low funding goal is an immediate red flag

Since it's "Blackout Brother", it's Gambler's Warehouse, right?

No Mike. Its not us. Its one of our clients in Dallas whom we provided consulting & fulfillment services for this project.
Don't worry guys no red flag on this one. Its legit. The project owner is self funding 50 percent of it...

Thanks for clarifying.. :)
Concept Grafix (creator) should mention that at their project page... (or is this against KS rules ?)

Thanks for the clarification GW!

Concept Graphix does mention that GW is doing fulfilment at the bottom of the project page. They also mention USPCC, but not LPCC even though they are using both printers. Wonder which printer will print the Black deck if it gets unlocked?

I changed pledge to both decks to boost funding toward black deck. I couldn't resist any longer, that red Bicycle tuck is sexy, that may be the only deck I'll never open. Hehehehe :D

I think they updated the page to correct that oversight: it shows USPCC for the Bicycle branded (red) deck - obviously - and Legends PCC for the unbranded (gold). I don't think I'm taking a giant leap in expecting that if there is a black unbranded deck, it would be done by LPCC, then again, I don't see anything specifically about that deck at all.

I have to say I'm impressed by these decks. They have a Fed52 flavor done in an Imperial Rome style. The only reason I'm getting any of the unbranded decks in addition to the branded USPCC decks is that $15.00 for a foil backed deck is very fair.

I was on the fence. Sinjin7 pushed me over. I'm in for a split six and a coin. Interested in seeing the stretch goal deck. Hope it has a lot of shiny, too. (I see they've already crossed the threshold for the special edition deck, but haven't released details yet.)

BTW, Gamblers Warehouse endorsement of this project was a key element for me. I'm getting wary of new projects by first-time creators. For GW to say they have a history with this team and that they're legit, well, that carries a lot of weight.

Another non-red flag for me was the fact that there's been a thread for this deck in the Drafting Board forum since June 3rd.

It's not shown on the project page, but the first update explains what to do.

direct link to the black deck update:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12 ... ts/1691379" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just wonder why everybody has to send a massage via kickstarter instead of using backerkit.

It's limited so he wants to make sure he doesn't run out, you have to reserve your spot basically. Otherwise 1001 people could pledge when there is only 1000 decks.

They sent out a project Update today saying that the two LPCC decks will be printed by USPCC, instead. Pretty interesting, no?

When I heard, I was a little bummed about that info -- not sufficiently put out to comment on the KS page, but I was looking forward to seeing the contrast b/w these two printers on a virtually identical set of decks.

I'm completely in favor of MetalLux foiled decks. What I find interesting is that the USPCC made it economically feasible for them to handle the foiling on the cards over LPCC. Also interesting that Joker & Thief switched to the USPCC over EPCC for their re-launch of their Dystopia deck as well, citing better pricing and faster production times.

I think it won't be metallux....Because if you look at the foiled area, it is minimal and not covering much of the card back. Metallux is done through a 4 or 5 step process and it works well when there is a lot of area required to foil or when the design is intricate enough with a stroke width of < 0.1- 0.2 mm.

Interesting in a shady way. Changing printers is a big change. That's not what the campaign was based on.

Imagine someone running a campaign for a red deck, and because blue ink was on sale, they went with blue. People would be pissed. It's not what they pledged for.

I pledge for what was advertised, not because they could get a, "good deal."

I call it bullshit. On Oct. 31 they were sending the art out for approval. Now almost 2 months later they drop LPCC but say the USPCC art was approved. How long does art take to get approved? Anyone know, I'd like to.

This is just a way to, as they admit, to "get it done cheaper" aka more profit for them!
