[Buyer's Guide] Halfmoon Playing Cards/Lotrek

by Justin O.
Hey guys, on the (at the time) recent Liturgy deck thread I had requested a list of Lotrek's decks so I could track what I have, what is still shipping and what I need to get still. Misterharmanko provided an excellent list that I thought it would be worthwhile to have it's own thread. Please let me know if any changes need to be made or if any decks are missing from this list. I will try to keep it updated. Mods feel free to update the list as you see fit.

1. Great list concept but the problem with me is that I need to also track down HOW MANY of each of those decks I pledged for.

2. With the reasoning of this thread, seems like Lotrek's being put on front street but it's still helpful to remind us of what we need to receive which is a lot plus for everyone to check out his previous work. Maybe once in awhile we can do this for some of the other designers as well, showing their body of work and pending projects.

I would really love to have a stickied [Buyer's Guide] thread for multiple designers/companies, I will try to put a few together as well as I am able.

That's a great idea! I was curious, and actually did a list of all my Decks a couple weeks ago.
I was stunned to see it's almost at 100,00 Decks printed!!

I left off the Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Decks, as I didn't do all of the work on those (and I don't know their print quantities). I printed 3,000 of the ROME Caesar Deck because it will also be in the Gift Shop for a Julius Caesar Exhibition (http://juliuscaesar.niccolaigroup.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Here's the list of Midnight Cards Decks, along with Print Quantities in parentheses.

ORNATE Sapphire Deck (2500)

Made a dedicated thread here if you want to edit the list in this thread down so we can keep this one about Halfmoon

For Liturgy, I would separate out the two editions of each of red and green, so there are actually in total 5 different versions of Liturgy:
Treasure
Red v1 (misaligned)
Red v2
Green v1 (misaligned)
Green v2

Sorry for continuing the deviation, but Randy's input on this was very informative and I updated all relevant decks with print run quantity on Portfolio 52. Thanks!

FYI - Currently it only looks like the special edition of Liturgy is there for Lotrek's deck. I would agree it would make sense to have different entries (and print run counts) for each once added.

Should we add "Oath" as in progress, too?

This is a great thread, and it's a very impressive list of quality decks that Lotrek has created, which testifies to his amazing talent. Perhaps the original post could be updated to include a few recent additions, which Lotrek has published under his new label, Oath Playing Cards:

Golden Oath
Sanctus

Ambassadors (Red)
Ambassadors (Black)
Ambassadors (Platinum)

Future: Ambassadors Players Edition

Given what this thread is about, I'll also share links to a two-part series of extensive pictorial reviews that I just published, in which I give an overview of the major designs that Lotrek has produced so far:

Edit: I completely disagree that any deck not designed by Lotrek be included in such a list, printing tucks etc doesn't count. This also goes for the Charmers Green and Purple Gilded decks, they had nothing to do with Lotrek, the Charmers guy took existing regular green/purple decks after release and had them gilded himself then released himself for some extra $, that's why they are not on this list, why I didn't buy them, and they don't count.

Was the Less Gold and Silver released at the Convention? I am fairly sure that hasn't been released yet to the general public unless I am suffering from some type of memory loss (not an impossibility TBH). I need some Rye Whiskey to calm my nerves.

The “Less” decks were for sale at the convention. But I’m not sure it is the final version or exactly what version type to call them. Here are a couple photos of what was sold.

But that is just a dream too good to be true :(
