LUXX® Signature Series Box Sets

We're working on a special release (hopefully to tie in with one of the next deck releases to save postage for those that might want both) which hopefully will be available in the next month or two.

Attached are a few photos of a prototype, we have a few things that need to be tweaked but the majority of what you see will be in the final version.

A few things to mention:

- Each box will be individually numbered INSIDE (laser etched and gold paint infill) - Series One: Box One, and so on.
- We expect each box to be made to seriously high standards here in the UK.
- The finish is likely to be as you see, dark ash lacquered with laser etching.
- Each box will have a black baize inlay with four cut outs for the decks, and will close with gold brass magnets.
- We are working on a translucent band for each deck to be signed by the creator (Elliptica by Randy, Palme by Rick, etc)
- There are a few features like the hidden gold barrel pivot hinges, sanded/softened edges & individual numbering which will inevitably make this a premium item which we won't produce many of (40-50 for the first series most likely).

This has not been shared anywhere else yet, as I thought it would be nice to post this first on UC. Without some of the quality feedback and support we've received from this forum LUXX probably wouldn't be quite what it is today.

That looks incredible, Paul! I'm just sad that I'm pretty sure I won't be able to afford one. Have you considered making a cheaper version? Something made out of thick cardboard stock, maybe all black.

Tom, I have a few times but the brick boxes or cardboard branded stuff are just not as popular these days, but we sell a lot of budget storage boxes so we're going to focus on either end of the market. Cheap brick boxes (we're out of stock whilst we try and get the price down further) and then premium, high-end boxes for LUXX. I don't want to pre-empt pricing as we have to confirm a few details, but we have a history of being fair with pricing and we'll do so with theses boxes too.

That was one of the words to articulate what i was looking for with the guys putting the prototype together!
