There have been at least 2 or 3 Alice in Wonderland decks already but this is without the single thought the best of them. The bar for that was not high but this passes it flying as the design is actually good. Only thing I can really critique is that the back would look better with color. But the design is original, it looks nice and this really deserves to fund.

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

Thank you very much! I started this project today (after more then year of work) and this is my first project - I almost do not breathe now . So I really appreciate your positive comment!
Nice work, Sasha. I put you into our "Deck Artists" group. Welcome to UC!

Really cool deck, why did you chose to go with indiegogo over Kickstarter? I feel like on kickstarter you have a better chance of funding as that is where many of the people who back playing cards tend to operate.
Thank you!
I know that Kickstarter is much more popular, I myself got larger half of my collection there. But unfortunately only residents of a limited number of countries can start a project there, and I'm not among them.
Like Räpylätassu, my collection has a few decks on a theme [the Divine Comedy], and I have recently been looking for an Alice deck. I really like these. Echoing the sentiment that the back needs some colour. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here, but I really would like to see these in a new iteration of colour: purple and green/orange perhaps?
I thought about different colored version, but for start I've choose this one (maybe I was influenced by the fact that the classic deck I have and like has a black only back) - If everything goes well with funding, maybe I'll make additional colors and/or limited edition.
My campaign is not going well (gently said). Perhaps you can advise where to put information about it? I was really helped by Ivan from Kardify and Max from MaxPlayingCards, I'm also advertising on Facebook, besides that I found several forums about playing cards and groups about Alice in wonderland. Maybe there are additional places / forums / groups? Thank you in advance.
Sasha, such a beautiful project! I'll tell you about my experience as I have created 3 campaigns already. In short, you need to build your OWN community or/and find a way to run the project on Kickstarter. I don't think that Facebook advertising will help you. In my last NEO campaign I spent $10 on FB just to test something but I tried FB before with zero(!) result (spent $300 or so). Will never spend a cent on FB. Open an instagram account and build your own fanbase. With NEO I tested something - the zero publicity strategy (I asked Max and Ivan to not post anything hehe) No reviews, nothing at all. With all the respect to Kardify and Max I need to understand how it works without any additional boost. Posted updates on Instagram and here on UC. Some unexpected results - I have 27 out of 327 backers who created a new account on Kickstarter to be a part of the project (first time backers). Instagram? Maybe. I have no idea. Of course you can run the campaign on indiegogo but you'll need a huge fanbase to fund it. Good luck!

Many thanks for such a detailed answer. I also see that advertising on Facebook practically does not give any results. I'll try to revive my account in Instagram, although I'm afraid that this is already lost for the current campaign.
Awesome! Looks like Will Roya is teaming up with Sasha to try and launch this deck with color as per his post on PCF! He is looking for color scheme suggestions
Looking forward to the relaunch on KS
@sasha - I only discovered Instagram during my recent campaign (better late than never ) and have found it a fun and inspiring way to share images and news.
Gorgeous artwork here! Always love seeing new talented designers that are doing something fresh with their designs. You see so much garbage filter through this forum you forget that there really are talented people out there putting the time in
