I wanted to introduce myself with hopes to share and learn through this forum.
I performed and experience my greatest successes as a youth. I am returning to one of my first loves and trying to regain my skills.
I've been studying for the last 6 months or so. I have become an advid card collector as well.
(I have a collection of more than a hundred unique playing card decks)
Things have sure changed alot in the world of magic. (since the mid 1970's)
I am just trying to regain that magic mojo. LOL

Welcome aboard the good ship Unitedcardists! Best wishes getting your fingers and such back in shape. It is fun going back to hobbies we enjoyed in our youth.
Although, in my case I think I will keep the 6' unicycle garaged a bit longer. I don't think I can take the falls and I don't think my bike can take my weight.

I must of been about 15 years old when i first caught the bug. i remember being inspired by "the Magician" TV crime drama.
I performing for youth groups and at schools and company holiday gatherings, private partys,nursing homes, well all kinds of places.
My carrer culminating the year I graduated High School. Performing in a class program, I presented an act with fire,smoke effects and my Doves all set to music.
It came off pretty well .At the time, I felt "I'd done it all." I quit and regretfully sold almost all my props at the local magicians club,at ttheir annual auction.
So long story short about 3 to 4 years. Though I dabbled ever since.
