Thanks crazy looking :OBradius wrote:I know it is expensive. His last Tarot (Visconti Modrone Tarot) was expensive too. Check it out. It is insane. Down the page linked is an unboxing video and some nice photos of the cards. Two hot stamped foils and gilding on monster cards.

And if you missed the Kickstarter, there were not any extras. None were available after for sale. Only Kickstarter. I haven't even seen one up on eBay.

I am also waiting for Lorenzo’s HotRS Tarot deck. That should be something else.Kurama wrote:The Visconti Modrone is indeed magnificent... I've bought some taro decks in the past and those are quite tempting. It makes me wonder why I hesitate so much with those when I am capable of going overboard for Lotrek's decks without so much as a hesitation...

Couldn‘t have wrote it better. I was really on the fence because the motives are awesome, imo. But the art style isn‘t for me either. Renderings aren‘t/don’t work for Tarot, imo aswell. If these were hand painted, I would be all over them.Outsider wrote:The designs aren't half bad but I'm not at all a fan of this 3D computer model look. That bear looks like something I'd see on a Playstation 2. The crooked sword has a visible flat edge so it looks like it's a toy. Visible points of articulation, obvious computer generated lighting and shadows, the works.
I won't knock it too hard because it's decidedly not bad work but computer modeled tarot seems like a complete oxymoron, if you ask me.
