These look really good. Actually considering getting one even though I don't use tarot cards

I am not a tarot person either, but I am in for his stuff. His last campaign was different though with a classic card deck. However, this also interests me, and I know he can knock it out of the park.

Not particularly into Tarot decks, at least not yet but I am for a deck of these as I think they look really, really good. Not a cheap deck though.

I must say my first impulse was to pledge for one... Then the price made me doubt... Still doubting...

The designs aren't half bad but I'm not at all a fan of this 3D computer model look. That bear looks like something I'd see on a Playstation 2. The crooked sword has a visible flat edge so it looks like it's a toy. Visible points of articulation, obvious computer generated lighting and shadows, the works.

I won't knock it too hard because it's decidedly not bad work but computer modeled tarot seems like a complete oxymoron, if you ask me.

I know it is expensive. His last Tarot (Visconti Modrone Tarot) was expensive too. Check it out. It is insane. Down the page linked is an unboxing video and some nice photos of the cards. Two hot stamped foils and gilding on monster cards.

And if you missed the Kickstarter, there were not any extras. None were available after for sale. Only Kickstarter. I haven't even seen one up on eBay.

I really do not know anything about Tarot cards but the deck art is very nice, especially Visconti Modrone Tarot.

The Visconti Modrone is indeed magnificent... I've bought some taro decks in the past and those are quite tempting. It makes me wonder why I hesitate so much with those when I am capable of going overboard for Lotrek's decks without so much as a hesitation... :ugthink:

I am also waiting for Lorenzo’s HotRS Tarot deck. That should be something else.

These look awesome :D And from the description these could be amazing in person: "Every surface is printed in black over a special silver metal treated cardstock. The metal sheen gives brilliance to the paper and light appears to shine through the black art"

Plus they've already unlocked a free print and will probably hit the coins at the very least... :D I backed Visconti too and the decks ended up with even more "features" than had been promised :D

$100 though... I hope I don't end up dropping my pledge :o

I know a long shot, but .... if anyone has a Visconti Modrone deck that they would be willing to sell or know where to buy one, let me know. Thanks!

Couldn‘t have wrote it better. I was really on the fence because the motives are awesome, imo. But the art style isn‘t for me either. Renderings aren‘t/don’t work for Tarot, imo aswell. If these were hand painted, I would be all over them.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

The art on these looks great imo. That price though. I have it saved to revisit. It would be my first tarot deck but they look great.
