Well then.. after going through the trouble to complete the current set there’s no way I’ll be missing out on this one. Gotta say, from the preview picture the foiled box does look nice
If anyone wants the x/100 frame from the original campaign, my goal would be to price it close to the KS price. I also have the Asia exclusive box and extra standard decks if anyone needs them.
Printed by King Star PCC, resulting in one of the most affordable, highest quality playing cards. .... Both the Standard Edition & Gilded Editions contain the same cards (Holographic on White), with the only difference being the gilded edges and tuck box designs.
Standard Holographic Edition (1/999)
Gilded Holographic Edition (1/120)
The AP Edition (1/24)
The entire project is centered around an affordable double sided cold foil luxury deck. With the other offerings at cheaper price levels, the AP edition is a 1/24 special edition created during testing, available for only the supporters who want to take it a step further to help fund the project. The tuck was created with only holographic foil, compared to the standard edition holographic + silver foil tuck for testing purposes. .... This is the only deck that's not an add-on option and acquired through the all-in package.
Add-ons:
White Tuck Box Uncut Sheet: Limited to 15
Black Tuck Box Uncut Sheet: Limited to 15
Holographic Edition Playing Cards Uncut Sheet: Limited to 15
Ah this sucks for me, I stayed up till 3am for the extra drop, refresh for a whole minute at 3 but KS didn’t display any changes until I closed and reopened the tab and then all were gone.
The limited gilded numbers are really disappointing. Wasn’t even gunning for the super special AP version which justifies the low numbers. Just wanted to complete the set. Sorry for ranting probably cause I’m tired and annoyed.
I am in for a standard deck. I am fine not picking up the other rarer decks. It can be tough figuring out the quantities. It really hurts the creator as that caps the max purchases. Then again, some may have pounced on it because of the limited numbers. It is hard to say. Anyway, glad I saw this here and picked up a deck.

I hopped in early (backer 11) and then hopped in again early (backer 25) with another account as I wasn’t sure if I wanted the pair (std/gilded) or the collector package
I’ll let you know when I decide which to keep and we can set up a time for you to grab it if you wish

I deeply appreciate the gesture Gandalf, thank you so much for offering. Please let me know and we can arrange a timing should you decide to let me fill your spot.
looking at a project like this with the features on the deck just makes it harder for me to believe the justification some give for their high prices. maybe kingstar is that much cheaper to print with. maybe not. either way, full featured tuck and double sided foil for $18 is a great price. especially when that has become the new norm for decks with no foil on the cards and some decks with no tuck features as well. add in the limited numbers and a lot of pricing arguments look a lot less reasonable.
i have quite a few kingstar decks now and it seems to me the quality and handling rivals any other printer. perhaps more designers should look into kingstar for their printing or whatever printer they use.
Patrick is a US liaison for KingStar's works, so I wouldn't be surprised if he is able to get some sort of deal. What's unique about his approach too is he starts the printing process around the same time he launches his campaign, so backers get decks with a much quicker turnaround as a result. That's why he's unable to increase the gilded deck number as they are already printed or being printed with x/120 on the boxes. Another thing I like about that is no seals! The numbering is on the bottom of the tuck. More of that please.
