Hey all! It's been a while. So sorry that I haven't been as present. The struggles of the last year have been well documented. This post isn't about those things. I just want to comment on some of the above speculation.

First things first, Beetlebacks fulfillment will start on May 1st. It may drag on a bit due to the pre-mentioned circumstances. So some might not get their decks in the first batch of shipments but they WILL get them regardless. I will update everyone via the campaign.

I don't know that being frustrated is outside of the realm of acceptable responses. We're not talking about needing a huge time investment, just a few minutes to provide the current info.

I have a bit of a personal OCD that if I say Im going to do something by a certain time I will at least provide an update by then of what's the current story/plan or it will drive me nuts...so I do understand the above.

People who collectively supported with over $100,000 have a right and understandable motivation to call a severe communication neglect unprofessional. Updating your supporters is one of the easiest and cheapest tasks you can do as a project manager.

I thought I saw another update than the one I found here on 4/18 but Im pretty sure he got that problem solved and the decks are at gamblers warehouse now (or were on their way I guess).

You don't need to be an apologist for him laito - communication in this instance would be easy. He is not being professional - especially after saying 3 weeks ago that he would update 'this week' AND it is now approaching 3 months since his last KS update

What's not to understand, he said he would provide an update this week - 3 weeks ago. Even if there is no new news it takes < 5 minutes to keep this promise Eg. "Sorry, no new news after all but rest assured I have the cards"

Let us all hope it is simply a small hiccup of professionalism due to some this or that, acceptable or otherwise - and nothing worse. I imagine, as long as it’s not worse, we will hear from him shortly - but I do not seem him checking in here since april 18th

Hi all. I apologize for the radio silence. I do plan on offering an update on the KS campaign this week. I wanted to wait until I had concrete info. The decks will begin shipping end of this month. I am going to do it myself so it will be a bit slower but it’s happening. Again thank you all for patience and understanding. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience and wait.

The surveys for this was almost a year ago now, I'm good but surely lots have changed address within that period.

I've heard this one from many people before. PLEASE going forward do not adhere to this. It's OK to post an update saying nothing has changed. Radio silence only serves to make people worry and conjecture the worst abotu what is happening. Communication is key!

KS Project Update #16

Hi all, first of all, I'd like to apologize for not updating everyone sooner. I wanted to wait until I had more concrete information but alas many have suggested that any update is better than no update. Having said that I can inform you that I am going to be fulfilling Beetlebacks myself (due to issues with WJPC eroneously shipping the decks to my personal home rather than Gamber's Warehouse). This does have some small ramifications. For one thing the process will be a bit slower than usual--the good news though is that fulfillment will begin the week of 5/26. The intermitent week will be so that backers have a chance to double check their delivery info.

On that note, please check your emails so that we can lock the addresses. Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

I wish him the best, and he should definitely have an idea of what its going to take but...self fulfillment rarely goes well.

For some reason, I must have blinked and forgot to back this deck on Kickstarter. So hopefully I can pick up a basic deck on TGW's website after fulfillment.

That's going to be a painful slog for Omar. I'm also not sure if he'll be eligible for bulk shipping discounts that GW gets for being a fulfilment company. It may mean that he'll have to swallow alot of the undiscounted shipping fees , if that wasn't accounted for in the KS.

This could very well be the straw which breaks the camel's back. I'm hoping not and wishing him all the best with this.

Quick update for everyone... Lorenzo convinced me that Gamblers is the way to go for fulfillment so I loaded all 1200 lbs of Beetlebacks decks onto a pallet and Gamblers will take it from here.
In the end it will result in a quicker fulfillment as they are prepped for this kind of thing and I am not
The thought of packing 600+ shipments was quite daunting.

I hope this isn't too controversial or too sensitive an issue to bring up but did you provide a ks update that talks about this since your last update on May 17th? You said in that update that you were going to start shipping out decks a week ago. I don't see an update on ks discussing this recent change of plans. Nice decks btw and gl with fulfillment.

This was announced 2 days ago but I am still not seeing an update. 6 days ago someone was asking if shipping had begun as stated it would. That person has no reply to their question. Would he really just announce here and leave ks stumbling in the dark or did I miss something on ks?

I saw this on Vanishing Inc but not on the gentleman wake site. Is that unusual? Regardless, it's been a long time coming now and nice to see backers got their decks.

Backers have not gotten their decks, but if Vanishing Inc. has these listed, then I imagine Gambler's Warehouse may have received the pallet from Omar.

Henry/SoCal has them in his Newest Decks. Penguin may or may not have them for a search can bring them up (with the right tags) but then it says Out of Stock - maybe it is a marker for them arriving soon
