I like the concept of this theme, but the images provided aren't helping to sell the art. As rendered images, everything looks very flat, so we can't get a feel of the ink on the stock, the finish texture, dynamic lighting hitting the cards. All of these things will help make it more tangible. While it helps, you don't need a professional photo shoot. Just propping the cards up and taking some pictures with your phone - especially if you have a macro lens - can do wonders to the presentation.

I do like the theme, though the card faces lack the surrounding details that I think could elevate the court card illustrations. The number cards, border work, and tuckbox all seem a bit flat and plain.
The two red flags I see would be the print run of 200 and the funding goal of $1400. If we assume the funds he raises will be the only funding source, it just doesn't seem possible that WJPC could print this deck for $7. That is assuming they even agreed to such a low minimum print run. The cost per deck only goes up when you start printing below 1000 decks so I would be very wary of this project as it seems the creator didn't do the necessary homework or perhaps my printing experiences with WJPC are outdated and things are fine as-is.
Best of luck to this creator, but I will be watching from the sidelines.
EDIT: 3rd red flag is no prototype. Take the time to get one printed and it will help potential backers see that you are putting in just a bit more effort up-front.
