Honestly, he should stop designing decks. People pour their heart and soul into a deck for a reason. When they dont have time for designing decks, i dont have extra money to support them.Magic_Orthodoxy wrote:.... and cancelled

Many will say that take 8 to 10 months on one deck. Who has time for that. I put in hours of my time designing these decks of cards with passion.
Thankyou for understanding"

Hey Jason,
I really appreciate that you are a kid with a dream, and your tenacity could take you a long way. I think it's time that you re-evaluate your approach to launching kickstarter campaigns. Campaign after campaign is cancelled within days, relaunched, cancelled, new design a few weeks later. This leaves you with no backer confidence, and only hinders your chances of getting funded.
At the bottom line of every playing card KS campaign is solid deck design. A quality design is the MOST important part of your project. Despite being ridiculed on the forums (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7891" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) , these people would be more than happy to help improve all aspects of your deck(s). I would highly recommend getting an account there and subjecting your work to critique. Because honesty, you're close. You have had some decent designs. There is a lot of potential. But you need to revisit your approach. Forget "Ideal Playing Cards". The brand has a bad image, and no products to offer. Focus on creating a quality product, and develop the brand based on that.
Again, I suggest reaching out to the playing card commuity, United Cardists has a bunch of really nice people. I sincerely wish you the best of luck,
Ben

But honestly, if he comes around with a decent attitude (and decent illustration skills), we could turn things around. Just look at 52 ravens, from well ok to their stunning work now.

Haha i did say if he has decent illustration skills, nothing we can do if you cant illustrate!Stockholm17 wrote:volantangel wrote:Ill take under if you don't mind.joeblow wrote:Vegas puts the over/under at 4 days.

HOLD ON, we are talking about 2 different worlds, light years far from each other.
A 15 years old cocky kid with no skills (which is also normal, he is 15).
VS
A very good illustrator and graphic designer from UK.
The attitude is important. Credibility is also important.
I will not put my money in the hand of a 15 years old kid running his inconsistent kickstarter campaigns (how many so far? 12? all canceled?). It´s just matter of common sense.
